Kai Restaurant

Me and my boyfriend found this place when we were running really early for Wednesday night church one day, now we make it a point to show up at least once every week!! I can never get tired of their food, they have such a large selection and the chefs and waitresses are amazing! The restaurant itself is so beautiful and the employees are the sweetest people you'll ever meet!!

First off when you walk in it starts easing you into a very chill atmosphere with light guitar music playing over the speakers. The food is very authentic and very delicious while also being very reasonably priced. The sushi was great, the ramen looked delicious and the katsu was amazing. The service was phenomenal, very nice waitress very quick with orders and polite. This was just an all around amazing experience and I will be coming back here many many times in the future.

I have been a few times with my friends, this time I went here with my wife. We got there after the dinner rush. We stood there for a good couple mins, a girl came to the front to drop off a togo order, looked at us and walked back to the back. When we finally got sat, service took quite a bit to get our drinks. I feel like the service has been lacking, food was okay. I usually get Ramen but we got sushi this time and most of the rolls are so big. I had to cut them in half to make it easier to eat. Not sure i'd be back here anytime soon but when I do, hopefully it'll be a better experience.

Don't know about the rest of the menu but the poke was awful, worst I've had by far including from Winn Dixie. Pale cheap salmon served over soggy wet rice ( water in the bottom of the bowl) and ice burg lettuce and doused with heavy mayo aioli, covered with it. And it was $15. Awful. Was praying I wouldn't get sick.

Good food and service! Marylou, my server, was very attentive even in the busy dinner hour. She took very good care of me! I ordered the pork ramen and a glass of plum wine. For dessert, I had matcha icecream in a waffle cone shell! Good food! Kai has a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere. I enjoyed everything I ate and will be back!

Sushi rice was incredibly overcooked. Ramen was made with spaghetti noodles, corn straight from a can, mushrooms were bitter and inedible, pork tasted freezer burnt, and the eggs weren't even ramen eggs, just plain boiled eggs. My friend got the teriyaki chicken hibachi and it tasted like it came straight out of a frozen bag and the chicken was definitely not teriyaki. the rice and veggies were very obviously microwaved. We modestly let them know and they still wanted us to pay over 100 dollar bill and ended up settling with only making us pay for the hibachi, but at this point we just wanted to leave so we weren't going to argue so we paid and left. To serve people food like this and think it's acceptable when it's clearly terrible quality is insulting. I would rather eat at Shoney's.
