Popol Vuh is nothing but phenomenal. I decided to do the tasting course because everything sounded amazing, so why not try a plethora of dishes. Each dish had so many unique flavors, I was beyond impressed. I'd say the barramundi was definitely my favorite out of everything, but it was all delicious. If you can get a reservation at Popol Vuh I recommend you try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Good service and tasty food. It's always very busy and parking can be tricky. The location is fantastic - in between two great taprooms and lots of art studios. The enchiladas are large and flavorful and the tacos are very good, less filling. Order chips!

Octopus is great. We really enjoyed the mushroom tlayuda. A mole based fancy nacho dish with a kick. Absolutely fantastic and a must try. Had market fish dish with sea bass incorporating a ‘make your own fish taco.’ Servers extremely knowledgeable and will give you recommendations. Mike was fabulous!

The food and service were super good. The food is cooked over a wood fire!
I’d highly recommend this for any date night or special occasion! The whole fish was wonderful and the cocktails were great. My favorite dish was the octopus!

One of my best food experiences in the Twin Cities. It's not a classic Mexican restaurant, but one that uses a lot of the country's rich set of ingredients and dishes to produce some fantastic food inspired by classics. My girlfriend and I went there and ordered the five-course dinner and we had a blast! She's from Mexico City and very enthusiastic about her country's cuisine. It suffices to say that she thinks Popol Vuh is the best restaurant she's ever been to in the TC. That should be enough for everyone!
The service was amazing, by the way. Our waiter was great, and the playlist was in line with the place.

We all enjoyed our dinner at Popol Vuh. Excellent attentive service, fabulous flavorful unique dishes with incredible sauces. Our server made excellent recommendations, including the wine from Mexico. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and although it was crowded we were still able to converse and have a relaxing meal.

Fantastic dining experience! I had been excited to visit Popol Vuh since it was first announced it would open in Northeast! What an amazing meal, start to finish, the flavors were amazing. We started with the ribs, then the ceviche, then shared the roasted cauliflower along with our main dishes of carne asada and chuleta (pork chop Al pastor). The ribs were awesome, incredibly flavorful. The ceviche light and refreshing. The chuleta was the most delicious pork I have ever tasted. The carne asada was perfectly prepared, charred on the outside, medium rare, as recommended, on the inside. The cauliflower was smoky and wonderfully seasoned with mole verde. Mexican chocolate mousse was a perfect dessert. Don't skip the cocktails, they were incredible. Each one we tried was unique in its combination of flavors, awesome mixology!! Thanks for a great date night!!

I've had mole before, but the complexity of the flavors I tried were unlike anything I've had before. Everything was well balanced, textured, and had a pleasant nuttiness to them. The sauces here took the spotlight as I found so many different flavors in them. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower with the green mole sauce. Definite check this place out!

Food and cocktails were great. Cactus salad, tartar, oystwrs..were awesome. Perhaps all a bit on the acidic side... But still great. Desserts were ok. Great ambiance and service
