Great restaurant! But whoever runs this Google page is a real... Special character. Left-handed sun of a gun! Great at flipping houses though. Somewhat of a slum lord. ;)

I thought I would help this restaurant because they do not have a website. The only pictures you can see are from other customers so I took pictures of all of our food. We were very happy with the choices and we both felt like it was really good flavors on each different entrée. We got the chicken lo mein, the beef with mix vegetables, the pork egg foo young, and the pork fried rice. Two appetizers, the steam dumplings, and the eggrolls. My favorites were the steam dumplings with the excellent sauce , the white meat chicken lo mein, and the pork egg foo young. The sauce was authentic and have great flavor. The eggrolls are kind of boring and taste so like any other restaurant, but I was happy with the large servings and prices were amazing. They really should have a website with current prices and menu but even though we didn’t know the prices, it was a super great value when we got the total at the pick up. Would recommend!!

One of those hole in the wall places that are easy to pass by...Don't! Delicious, and generous portions, with a friendly proprietor that makes you feel welcome. Don't expect ambiance, but you will walk away satisfied, and eager for your next visit. Prices are also very reasonable for the incredibly generous portions.. stop by today for lunch or dinner.

Love this place. Been a few years since I've been here because I moved away. Made a special trip and it's still wonderful. The dumplings, chicken fried wonton, and the beef Cantonese chow mein are so delicious. Oh how I've missed you.

First time there. The beef sub gum chow mein was a five, but the oil used to cook the egg roll and the shrimp appetizers sadly tasted a bit rancid. Perhaps I caught them at an off time. They had a steady stream of customers. It is a new business, and maybe they are just getting their feet wet. I could hear the woks clamoring in the kitchen so I know the items are cooked fresh.

I’ve been working in the Hale neighborhood for a while and would pass by Huie’s Chow Mein almost daily, but had never stopped. That is until today. I got the lunch beef with broccoli special that comes with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. My coworker got the roast pork lo mein lunch special with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I also got a small hot and sour soup. Everything was excellent and piping hot. The vegetables were all crisp, so you could tell it’s made to order. The egg roll was excellent. Lots of cabbage and pork filling. The hot and sour soup was also great. It didn’t have tofu, which I’m accustomed to. It did however had roast pork in it, which was a delicious surprise. There is no interior seating. Just a very outdated waiting area & cashier stand. Don’t let the look of this waiting area be your judge about the experience. The food was excellent. There’s a menu posted on the wall but ask to see a to-go paper menu, there’s a lot more options in the paper menu than are on the wall menu.

Very tasty, made to order, huge servings. Picked up food for the family and had left overs for days. ($75 for 7, could have served 10-14 with what we bought). Very hot and fresh, Didn't take too long to prepare. When asked for one more main, the recommended Pork with pea pods were fantastic. Waiting space could be spruced up, but there's plenty of chairs. Current menu shown, summer 2023. Remember to bring cash or check, no cc

Great curry chicken. I can special order the chow mein with clear gravy instead of brown, great flavor.
