I'll say it - these aren't just the best wings I've had in Minneapolis or the state or region, they just might be the best wings I've had anywhere. Full size actual chicken wings fully drenched in the sauce so a half order of 6 is really 12 traditional and the best price you'll find on that much too. On top of that they have their own version of the jucy lucy that was created down the street called the Cheezy Wheezy that is way bigger and more indulgent, AND the bar has 40s, but not liquor, classic. Say no more, that's a real dive, I'm in heaven. Always great friendly service and friendly locals, don't let the hipsters find out about this place. I came here on the customer appreciation day and they even had free beer and brats. If the classic 'death row final meal' conversation ever comes up these days I would probably say a half order of buffalo from Cedar Inn, it is my happy place. Best bar food I've ever found and in a great unpretentious bar that would still be great without it. Can't recommend it enough but you better know what you're getting into. But if this is your speed you should recognize it's a gem.
OUTSTANDING! Wings were some of the BEST we have ever had, and we have had wings from all four corners of North America and beyond! Lucy our hostess/bartender was excellent! The mushrooms & tots were a great starter to our wing adventure!! We WILL return!!
Great dive bar with even better wings! Seriously. The fresh cut french fries are some of the best I've found outside of the state fair, and that's saying something. Can't speak to much other food, though, cause I keep going back for wings and fries!
Wonderful neighborhood bar. The staff and owner are so kind, and always welcoming. They have a good menu selection and their black bean burger is vegan friendly! Go to place for playing a game of darts in the back corner. Patio seating in the front during warmer months. They also have different events throughout each month.

Calm friendly atmosphere, servers are friendly polite and attentive to our needs. A neighborhood bar restaurant that is well priced and the food is very good. I also understand they hold a poker night on Monday evenings, the dealer is very friendly and has a great sense of humor 👍 😀. Five stars to The Cedar Inn. God is with you always ❤️. A Saintly atmosphere... Cedar Inn is a portal of kindness and love. Smiles abound and peace is free flowing here. I recommend this establishment to all those who are peace loving and enjoy a fun atmosphere 😁💓
Get local dive with killer food. Wings are top notch, burgers flavorful. Onion rings rock.

The chicken wings here are second to none. They are large and flavorful. No greasy! Definitely worth the drive in to the city from the suburbs. 💕
Best bone in wings in minneapolis. Just make sure to get the dry rub bone in. The saucier ones lose the magic. Sauce on the side please.
This dive has some of the best wings, burgers, and club sandwiches in the cities. It's clean inside and the staff are always so friendly. Check it out!
