Stray Dog

It's a bar with decent food. They have just as many vegetarian options as not. Cheese curds were good. They came out hot and fresh and stayed in a melty state for longer than most places can achieve. The burger was okay. Toppings and bun were above average, meat was not. The tots were crunchy, as in further than crispy. Overall, if you looking for a very standard bar and grill this is one.

Love the vegetarian selection! Best veggie burgers in the city! We had to sit at the bar but service was quick and helpful. Food came out fast and delicious. They have artwork of dogs all over it’s very cute. A little expensive but worth it, however they do charge for extra toppings including lettuce, tomato, and onion. I didn’t see anything about that so it was a surprise

I love the dog theme of this place!! The menu is massive with an entire full size menu dedicated to vegetarian options. Service was fast and friendly. Food orders came out fast. Not all of the sandwich, non-burger menu options listed the type of bun. I ordered the Cubano thinking it would be the usual crusted/hoagie type panini bread but it wasn't. It was more like a hamburger bun bread that was pressed. The sandwich had more ham and very little pork. The garlic aioli was delicious. The regular tots were the perfect crunch. The music was extremely loud which made it very hard to have conversations inside.

At Stray Dog, the menu offers a diverse range of both vegan and non-vegan options. Personally, I tried the American Breakfast and found it delightful, especially the 2-egg omelet, salad, and hash browns. The interior and bar setting create an energetic atmosphere. What's great is that my wife and daughter opted for the vegan spice, and they absolutely adored it. Another noteworthy feature is their pet-friendly patio, which is a huge plus. If you happen to be in Minneapolis, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. It's definitely not a "stray" dog, but rather a "stay" dog!

Wow the vegan/vegetarian menu is massive. They have tons of local and none local beer on tap. Service is good! I tried the vegan, black bean and beyond burger. My favorite was the spicy black bean. The vegan burger is homemade in house and is good too but a little mushy for me. The beyond taste most like a regular burger, I would suggest doing the sliders and trying different ones as well. The vegan chicken tenders are delicious the rooster sauce was very tasty. I wasn’t a fan of the Venezuelan dog because of the mayonnaise, but if it didn’t have it on there I think I would have enjoyed it. Overall I will be coming back!

Stopped in here for a family birthday celebration. Wow! The menu is loaded with a huge selection of drinks, burgers, and dogs. There is a small, private outdoor patio area. Inside decor is colorful and the walls are adorned with paintings of dogs. Our server was very patient with us as we took a while to make our selections. In the end, we all left satisfied and looking forward to going back.
