It's the best! Coffee and food are great, but it's the people that take this place to the next level.
This is my daughter and my favorite coffee shop! Love the atmosphere, coffee drinks and food. Love to go for coffee and an egg bowl on Sat or Sun - or both!!!

Favorite MPLS Coffee Shop. My neighborhood coffee shop. It has killed caribou and starbucks for me....they just aren't as good as the Coffee Shop NE. The atmosphere here is great and the servers are extremely friendly and helpful. I go here everyday and LOVE their coffee. I rarely get a chance to eat here, but the few sandwiches I've had have been great. If you're ever in Northeast, be sure to check them out.
Feel the Love. Everytime I go to The Coffee Shop NE I leave in a smiling. They always deliver such welcoming service that I always feel like a GUEST at their place rather than just another customer. This place has great coffee, excellent food, outstanding service and great involvement in the community. I stop there everytime I am in the area. I love this place.

Great place to hang out and get work done. Relaxing atmosphere; not overly noisy. Background music is nice and not too loud or distracting. I was surprised by how reasonable their prices are compared to some other coffee shops I frequent. I'll probably start coming here more often!
My iced coffee was solid, as was my nutella, banana, and almond sandwich - very unique! Friendly staff. There are two gender-neutral bathrooms here, and an ample parking lot next to the building. Overall, a nice local coffee shop!

First time visit, lovely place! Large menu of drinks but also lunch and breakfast type foods. To-go packaged fresh foods as well as options from the kitchen. Packaged foods include cake and baked goods options as well as salads and veggies, parfaits and a few other items. Ample seating but it was packed when we arrived. There was a single 2-seat table perfect for us in the room with the counter, and there were 2 other similar tables. Other tables are in the back of various sizes along with a few booths.
Clearly a community-oriented local shop. Lots of other cute local shops in the area as well. Local art for sale on the walls as well as some community information.
The coffee is good, though unremarkable. We both got drip though I also had a Florentine which is drip mixed with hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is made with milk and in addition to cow’s milk they have oat, soy, and almond milk options. The Florentine was delicious but how could it not be. ;) It’s a good option to get chocolate flavor but without the extra sweetness or espresso of a mocha. Drip coffee options were 3 different caffeinated and 1 decaf.
Nothing is advertised as gluten free but the breakfast and salad menus show options which should be gluten-free but I’m not sure if cross contamination is expected. We didn’t eat so I can’t comment. Plenty of vegetarian options but not much for vegan at quick glance.
I’ve been coming here to work for years. Good beverages. Nice lunch food. Good WiFi. Plenty of space to spread out. Easy access to plug ins. I moved away and still try to come back when I can!
This is one of my absolute favorite coffee shops in the twin cities, and definitely my #1 cafe-type place to go! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The coffee is delicious--I love trying seasonal flavored drinks and they always have a lot to offer. I find their balance between the coffee and flavoring to be very well done and tasty. Their food, especially their sandwiches, are also delicious! My favorite go-to is the caprese sandwich, it's incredible 🙌🏼 The space is great too, both for remote work or just chilling for a bit. I love that they also always have art up for sale on the walls. 10/10 place and I highly recommend.
This should be called "The Best Coffee Shop" instead. Everything from food to drinks here are incredible.
The workers are very friendly and helpful. The menu is nice and easy to navigate. The drinks are very good, I did not get anything to eat. But my iced chai latte was great!
This place is just beautiful. Super friendly staff and a nice overall atmosphere. Lots of tables to spread out and work. A whole back area as well, which features more space and a stage. There was an open mic the night I went, which was great! But also, if you wanted to work and not hear the performers, the whole front area was apart, and had a door that shut for quiet during working.
Great food, great coffee, and great feel. I will come back!
Friendly staff, yummy vanilla latte! Perfect options for the little ones. Surprisingly spacious with the extra tables and seating in the back room.
Love this place! Such a great community place. They always call my daughter by name when we come in. Great coffee and other great options for the non coffee drinkers as well.
I never thought to put red peppers on my sandwich before this. Very delicious.
