The Del Gordo burger combo is my first purchase. Overall a delicious burger! The fries could be a bit crispier but they were good. Had to take my food to go because it was hot in there! Wished it was a bit cooler not just for me but also for their employees! Such a great staff! They need to stay cool too!
Ordered a Del Gordo Cubano which includes chorizo, bacon, hot dog, and the usual accoutrements. A well executed and yummy fat burger. Fries were good, a little on the floppy side.
We stopped in for lunch and we’re happy that we did. We had the northeno tacos and the Del Gordo burger. The tacos were good, not great as the tortilla wasn’t warmed and rice felt like day old rice. The Del gordo burger was really good with fresh and plentiful toppings. The service was fast and the people working were great and very friendly. We’ll definitely be back soon for the burgers.
We ordered the El Pastor taco box and it had great flavor, fresh ingredients, killer sides, and authentic sauces amd toppings. The corn tortillas were pretty wet with meat juice and I'm sure steam from the delivery making them hard to eat and pretty messy. They added thoughtful paper devidors around each taco which made it possible to get the tacos apart without them falling apart. I would for SURE eat here again with a curbed delivery expectation.
Really good food. Burritos are very generous and the carnitas in particular are very moist and delicious.
We've had timing delays 3 of the 5 times ordering food ahead for pickup. So beware that can be a situation.
Haven't tried the ginormous burgers that they're famous for but they look unbelievably packed full of goodness ever time we see them!
I ate my Hamburgesa Cubano with my eyes closed, it was truly THAT good. I can't believe that I've never been here in my 5 years living in the Twin Cities! Service, food, everything was awesome. And I know it might seem pricey for a burger, but trust me...no chain restaurant or regular-ol' bar & grill can compete with this. Just go there, okay?! (oh, and skip the fries - you won't have room for them anyway 🍔)
Not the fanciest place... but... the food was AMAZING!! Service was great as well! Definitely will return.
I liked everything...except one note for the French fries. They were soggy and too oily and this is likely because they were not blanched. If this step is applied to the preparation they'll be crispy and 5 stars for sure!
The hamburgers and hotdogs are top notch, especially the Elote Doggo! The times I've had it delivered, the food is soggy so I very much prefer eating there. Just wish it was more enjoyable to sit-down and eat. Parking is difficult and the restaurant was ice cold (October 27th) as they might not have turned the heater on yet.
Excellent menu. Good quick service. You can taste fresh ingredients in their burgers. I have yet to try other items from the menu. It is ample menu tacos hot dogs burgers and more.
Dine in clean area with plenty tables. Some flat screens and overall a clean place with restrooms. I am not sure of parking is shared with Cesar inn (bar next door). But usually easy street parking too.
A nice easy going latin ambiance. Variety of channels on TV but noise is low level unless it gets crowded or with many unruly babies.
For sure an enjoyable experience at a decent price for a menu that is made to order not frozen things. I will be there often.
