Favorite coffee shop in the Twin Cities. Each location is unique to where it matches the vibes of the neighborhood that it resides in. The coffee is great and the atmosphere is on point. I have had some troubles with the wifi lately but it's not enough to make me look else where. I have lived in a couple other cities in the US and I always think, "I wish they had a Spyhouse here".
Spyhouse = darn good coffee
Spyhouse = good place to hang out.
As a “local chain” Spyhouse has done a good job with their buildings, locations, and most importantly their coffee. They have chosen well and all of their locations end up being welcoming coffee shops and they have replicated the quality of their coffee as well. Good coffee here, parking is on the street and you may have to walk a little. Tasty treats, plenty of sitting space, outdoor seating in the summer. 👍
Great spot to meet or catch up on work. The condiment bar situation is a little bleak. I just ordered a drip coffee, which was a little too dark roast for my palate. Will definitely try again, though, because I enjoyed the atmosphere and it's located in an area I tend to be in every now and then. There was plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
Great local chain coffee shops. Love the decoration and the quality of coffee.
I enjoy Spyhouse cafes, and this one didn’t disappoint. I enjoy the overall layout of seating, almost surrounding the coffee bar as the center. A good spot to study, but keep in mind it’s generally busy.
Stopped in on my way home from work. Grabbed my dog, the Spygirl latté, and a savory danish pastry filled with tomato confit and sat outside. It sprinkled a little but some of the outdoor tables have umbrellas. We enjoyed the experience. It looks like they try to keep the pastry case full. We came around 7:30am. Barista was super friendly and the café was very welcoming and had great ambiance. Definitely a place where I would enjoy work meetings at or studying.
Great little coffee shop with friendly and helpful staff! Seasonal peppermint mocha and traditional chai were delicious!
Coziest spot in the neighborhood to get some work done or meet with friends to study, read, and play Pokémon Go since it’s a gym. Really thankful for this lovely space with kind employees, delicious drinks and pastries, outlets throughout, and ambient lighting. I also really like that they have a water spout available.
Their matcha and chai lattes are consistently amazing. I join a small group here weekly and we can always find a table to accommodate our group.
Solid all around coffee shop. The Black Gold latte was absolutely amazing and the regular coffee was enjoyable.
My one, very minor complaint, I am rather tall and found some of the seating to be pretty uncomfortable. This would not be a problem for someone of average or shorter heights, but if you're around 6' it might be something to consider.
Spy house has changed a lot over the years but I still like to pop in for a Jasmine Tea Lemonade. Favorite drinks on the menu! Nicollet is a cute location, it can be a challenge to find a place to park. Also tried a new combo of the Red Berries tea with the Jasmine tea lemonade - tasted good but still prefer a classic JTL.
