Phenomenal cheese shop! Huge rounds from Europe. Pricey but worth it. Great fresh baguettes, sandwiches & meats. Expensive yet exclusive wine shop with a few sales. Take a fat wallet and treat yourself!!!

This place is like the ultimate spirits Emporium! They have everything you want and all the stuff that you don’t need that you didn’t know you wanted. They have stuff in here is that normal places called “don’t have”which is great because you spread your wings a little bit and maybe something that you wouldn’t try but also something that you might fall in love with that you didn’t know you needed. Give it a shot if you’re in the area life is short.

The vast alcohol and cheese selections are top notch but the phenomenally helpful, caring staff are what set France 44 apart. I went to the liquor store in search of sherry to make Thanksgiving dinner gravy. I ended up mistakenly buying a sweet variety even after receiving help from an employee. They called me within the hour confirming my purchase and easily exchanged for what I needed. These folks have your back!

DELI: Fabulous selection of cheeses and gourmet foods. Great butcher and prepared foods...love their sausages, brats, sauces, soups and spreads. All homemade there. Wine and Spirits and beer. Incredible selections. STAFF: in both the liquor store and the deli, there are very pleasant, helpful well-informed staff. With their newly renovated Bldg, they now offer classes, tastings and 'pop-up' parties (pizza, BBQ). Get on their mailing list for sure!

I come out of my way to get the grilled cheese here! It's so good!! Literally dancing while I eat it. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait for the food to come out but I love the grilled cheese so much I will happily wait for it.

This place has an amazing selection of wine. Price points are a little bit higher than I like but you can find anything you’re looking for. The cheese selection next-door is also very good. The employees aren’t overly friendly but helpful if I needed them.

I attended a wine event and I enjoyed all 3 cheeses and the champagne they offered. They were showcasing white wines from Germany France and Spain. I'd gladly come again for another fun experience.

Great assortment of meats and cheeses. With a wine/liquor store next door it has everything for your dinner party. They have some sister shops in st Paul aswell.

We used France 44 for appetizers at our Wedding at the Bakken Museum on 10/01/22, and we had the most positive experience with them! Communication was clear, on time, and the food looked beautiful! On top of this, everything was delicious!
We have always loved France 44 for their sandwich and liquor shop, but this experience solidified why we chose them in the first place!

Cheese shop is exquisite, great liquor options, and friendly staff. Visited for wine/liquor/beer tasting and ended up getting a club sandwich from the deli! Staff in the liquor store are very helpful and kind - I will definitely be back!
