Applebee's

Food was good and waitress was fine but when I returned to my table after a short visit with Mrs. Murphy (shout out to the baby boomer generation!), there was a stack of dirty glasses, napkins etc. When they brought my food and I asked them to take it away, there was no acknowledgment that it was a mistake - nor did they return to take the rest away after the first trip! Disappointed.

Got here right when they opened at 11 am, on a weekday and during the summer when most students are out. As such, service was excellent and the food came quickly and accurately. Adjoins the Graduate Hotel. Had the BBQ Brisket Tacos and they were excellent. A real surprise. Parking is a huge challenge here. Very limited.

Had lunch here today. Quiet with few people. One server on duty. We asked to sit outside because the day was nice but threatening rain. Even though the patio was closed, our server said sure. He was very nice and attentive. Quick service. Hot food. Good salad. Started raining and he came right out and moved us inside to finish. Sweet kid. He was busy being by himself but was on top of things. Said we could hang out and chat longer if we wished due to the rain but we were ok with a walk in the rain. Only reason not an extra star is the bathroom. Great layout but no soap. Needed cleaning. Overall, service was exceptional. Food was good. A patio cover would be nice. Would have loved to sit outside and watched it rain.
