Everything Asian for cooking and dining Delight that one could hope for! Venue is clean, with friendly staff, and pricing is what would be expected for such a specialty location. Check it out, and experience all that is Asian in cooking!

I am very pleased with my trip here! It's out of the way for me, but i needed an onggi and some other groceries, and after checking every other place i could think of nearby, this was a last resort. The employees didn't know what i was asking for, but they directed me to a manager, and he was able to help me find one of the only two onggi's they had. It's very reasonably priced, too. I'm so glad i found it!

Great Asian grocer. We're able to get a lot of great ingredients here. Huge selection of spices and cooking oils. Quality meats, including pork belly which I'm not able to find anywhere else. The store layout is good and there is ample parking. I also like the dishware they have in their gift area. I definitely recommend this place.

It's the best supermarket for buying imported food from Asia. You can get most of the ingredients you'll ever need at united noodles. The produce is fresh and cheaper too compared to other stores. They have packaged food, frozen food, spices, candy, fresh produce, and even a gift shop. The staff is super helpful too. The place is very big, but could benefit from some upkeep. The place is a lil hard to find may be, but Google maps guide you right to the front door. There is free parking right outside.

United Noodles has one of the most variety of Asian shelf-stable goods I've ever seen at an Asian grocery store in the Twin Cities, and even in the country. I was impressed at the number of Southeast Asian products that I've never been able to find elsewhere. The shopping experience is pleasant - it's clean and we'll organized in there, so don't be put off by the industrial-looking building it's housed in. The produce section is more limited compared to bigger Asian grocery stores but sufficient. Prices are on the high side but I may just be used to lower prices in other cities I've lived in.

Have you ever traveled to Japan, or China, or Korea, or Vietnam, or Indonesia? Well, I have many times. If you have traveled to Asia, I am sure you're like me - always craving a certain food that you had over there and which you have simply given up trying to find here in Minnesota. Well, my buddy said, "oh, you should check out United Noodles". "what?" says me? Never heard of it. Well......... Now I am their biggest fan! I traveled up Hiawatha and followed Google Maps to UN. At least I thought I did - it's in kind of a warehouse kind of place - parking is along the side of another warehouse. If you see the new "Coastal Seafood" location, turn into the alley in between the two warehouses. OR, follow all the Asian descent people (and crazy Caucasian people like me)! The place was a veritable zoo on the day I went there - crowded with people. This is a warehouse filled with Asian foods, spices, cooking oils, candies, frozen foods, drinks, noodles (dah, the name), meats, produce (I took a photo of true Japanese daikon!!!!) and even cooking pots, pans, dishes and Asian toys! Truly overwhelming on the first time I went to UN. Plan to spend an hour or more just walking through the enormous warehouse-type building. I wandered through the place, marveling at the number of authentic Japanese and Korean foods that I saw on the shelves. Unbelievable, really. I have traveled to Japan for 125 days between 2017 - 2019. I fell in love with the foods and the culture of Japan. Now that I "discovered" UN, I can taste my "omoide" of my travels through Japan. Oh, and what food was I specifically never found in MN until United Noodles? Authentic Japanese "natto" (fermented soybeans all gooey and smelly), authentic soba noodles, and Japanese Mayonaise. Oh, and real Korean kimchi. I found all of them at UN! I have now shopped many times at UN. If you miss your time in Asia, or you're of Asian descent and miss the foods of your childhood, get to UN. Seriously. Prices were a bit higher, but these are unique foods that are mostly unavailable in any other shopping store in MN. So unique! 5 star baby. Hontouni sugoi deshita! Aishite imasu, United Noodles!

I tell all my friends about this hidden gem. We always eat here every chance we get. We bring our exchange students from all over the world here to shop for any ingredient. They always have what we want! Our whole family looks forward to shopping here when we are in town. Still our favorite market after all these years.

I love this place!! A Korean friend recommended it to my this summer when I complained about craving Japanese/East Asian snacks, and now it's my favorite local grocery store. It has the non-American snacks I crave like squid jerky and spicy tteokbokki, and it also has a great meat & fresh vegetable section. Only thing to note: If you go during COVID-19, please be respectful of their mask & limited household member policies!
