The other day my wife and I went to Birdie’s for the chefs table event. Having never attended anything like this in the past we weren’t sure what to expect but came away extremely pleased. The limited seating and proximity to the food preparation area allowed us to experience what went into each course of the meal. Watching the interaction of the 3 chefs preparing the food was enlightening. I could never have imagined so much work and attention to detail could be put into each plate on every serving. As the food was presented, it looked so good I almost felt guilty for eating it, but I got over that after the first bite. Even the background music was tailored to the dish being served. The one minor drawback was the limited amount of seating space at the table. A very unique menu, created and prepared by people totally committed to the art, and served with the greatest attention to detail. We will definitely be going back.
Facebook wants me to write a review of a place I stopped at for a beer over five months ago. So, since I can barely remember last week let - alone five months ago - here's my review:
I had the beer. It was served promptly, in a clean glass (or mug, stein, jar, beaker - don't really know, I just know it was clean because if it wasn't, I'd have remembered that). There was a minimum of fuss. Service must have been at least good or I would have remembered that. I vaguely remember that we were there in between menus so we didn't have food.
So, to sum up: it's a good place to have a beer with a minimum of fuss.

We stopped in for a post Dinner drink. Their signature cocktails are delicious and not crazy expensive. I had the Aviation which is a blend of gins and other flavors. Delicious!
Nice place with nice patio for summer time. I tried cheese curds, spicy chicken sandwich. Sandwich was good. Cheese curds were light and tasty.
This place is fantastic. Not crowded for a Saturday brunch. Outside patio is beautiful. The food was SO GOOD! The $17 for four mimosa deal was delicious. You can mix and match between three flavors and the champagne to oj mix was perfect- we're talking the splash of OJ and mostly champagne. Highly recommend this place.
Just a perfect Ruben. The sauerkraut was perfect and not too overpowering of the pastrami that had hints of maple in it. Absolutely wonderful. Our waitress Vic was a absolute gem. Definitely a great spot for a cold drink and a great Ruben!
Excellent drinks and food! I had the wagyu burger and my wife had the meat loaf. Both were devoured
A very chill restaurant great for an afternoon lunch. My fiance and I met a couple here for a lunch date. The food was excellent. We ordered the Cobb salad and bacon cheese burger. The proportions were big. We both took half home for later. The service was friendly. Not too busy for lunch time, much busier for dinner and later. I highly recommend.
Had the lavender mocktail and kimchi burger. Both were delicious. the burger had a bit of heat from the kimchi which paired nicely with my elote ( corn & cheese salad). Our server / bartender was very helpful friendly. Saw they have a Friday fish fry and Saturday prime rib night that we plan on checking out.
Bartender, server & chef were all very friendly. The restaurant was clean & patio looked welcoming. The Guinness stew was everything I was hoping for. It went great with the french dip for their lunch special. Coffee was good & strong!
Ava and Savanna were phenomenal. I don’t know the cook’s name but my burger was absolutely to die for. I have never had a bad experience here (except for the time a different customer tried to convert my religion, but that’s just another rude customer). Great food, fantastic staff, wonderful service.
Delicious as always. The fish tacos with elote salad was a huge hit. If you like elote or roasted corn, cotija cheese, mayo, lime juice and cayenne (it wasn't spicy), you'll love that salad. The tacos were refreshing and filling too. Perfect summer meal. Also had the chicken parmesan sandwich and it was next level with that pesto that I was not expecting. Pleasantly surprised. The San Marzano tomato sauce was very tasty, though could've used a touch more of it in my book (I wanted the sandwich to drip with it though, so I'm likely an outlier here). The lavender lemonade is a perfect summer drink to pair with lunch too. Highly recommend a stop out on their patio, which is shaded by trees. Half of it has a roof, so would be fine in inclimate weather too. Will be back.
