The food and drinks were fun and delicious. I liked the dog theme to the menu. Stopped here at random for dinner on the patio one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff was very prompt and courteous. The dogs loved the patio as well.

The flavor combinations are unique and interesting. The dishes are creative and delicious. There’s a good variety considering the pandemic. And there’s live music. We’ll be back. Specifically: the duck breast was phenomenal; the duck sausage was good, and the lamb merguez was fantastic. I very much hope they don’t get rid of the Bardo ‘Hits’ menu.

Smaller menu with huge flavor. One of the few restaurants in the city with duck breast omd shrimp and grits on their menu which are my top go to choices. Wonderful spot for dinner for 2 or 4. Patio seating was lovely on a late summer evening. Fantastic cocktails and local beer selections.

Creative, simple and tasty. We went in on a Saturday night, they had a really talented band playing but because of the size the restaurant it was pretty loud and made it hard to talk. The service was prompt, drinks were unique and tasty, along with the food. But nothing blew me away or really jumped out. The grit's had the consistency and taste of mashed potatoes which I'm pretty sure were mashed potatoes. The fried chicken in a bun was just that, fried chicken chopped up and placed into a hotdog bun... Although good it just didn't make sense other than the theme. All in all if you like hotdogs and drinks look no further but I was expecting a little more. ($$)

Tried Bardo for the first time and it was great! Met a friend of mine for happy hour and I was impressed with the happy hour menu. Drinks were $8, shrimp and grits $17, and crackers with cheese pimento $5... Everything we tried was on the happy hour menu and it was excellent (though the pimento and cracker plate could of been presented better, it was delicious nevertheless). The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly (both my friend and I are Asian and we both felt very welcomed there) and we enjoyed her suggestions very much. The decor was pleasant and inviting. Looked like they have a patio too so I'm definitely going to go back when it's patio weather! Overall experience was superb.

Just a beautiful experience all around. Great service, cocktails, food. We did three courses. I'm a vegetarian and it was delicious and so special. I absolutely loved it. I'm excited to come back with friends for happy hour, their music on Tuesdays, or another dinner.

If I could, I would give a 3.5 star rating. The restaurant itself is beautiful and romantic. The food is kind of a hit or miss for me. After my 4th time being there, I would say the service is somewhat lacking. The staff are friendly, but not super personable or passionate about the food. However, the sommelier was amazing; he was fun, sweet and had some great recommendations for wine. In the summer, a drink on the patio is worth a trip as well.

The food was tasty and relatively reasonable priced. The service was a bit over the top on the presentation in view of the more casual atmosphere of the establishment. Tables, size wise, are more suited to neighborhood restaurant or lunch place rather than fine dining. Still, I like the BYOB with a $25 uncorking fee. Their service and treatment of your wine is very professional.

Superb! Butternut appetizer was scrumptious: roasted butternut medallion with the nutty crunch of fried wild rice, cheese mousse and jalapeno glaze. The flavor and texture were perfect. Shrimp and cheesy grits continued this divine and yummy meal. Grits are very difficult to perfect and this was that rare success. My daughter's scallops were equally heavenly. Anthony, our waiter, was wonderful. His meal notes were spot on! He was fun and entertaining as well as the perfect level of attention and interaction. My daughter and I enjoyed his exchanges and humor! Living 30 miles away means I can return tomorrow but next Saturday I'll be headed back to try the duck breast! GO! You'll love it!
