Great evening at Rinata. After a slight challenge figuring out where the front door was, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. Service was outstanding, very friendly, helpful in explaining the menu, and very attentive to our table throughout the evening. The food was amazing, off the charts fantastic!! So flavorful! So many options on the menu. Can't wait to visit again and try something different from the menu. I had the chicken piccata and my wife had the canelonni. Both dishes were absolutely wonderful!! We ended our evening with a simple canolli which was so creamy delicious and a fun crunch with hazelnuts. Just wished they had Itallian pannetoni for Christmas. The atmosphere was the only thing lacking in the experience. A bit of a whole in the wall atmosphere, but the service and food more than made up for it. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again!!

Had the Bucatini which was really good. Meat sauce was some of the best I’ve had. Good service, free bread for the table. Bruschetta also fantastic. Atmosphere is solid inside. Might have to wait a bit or get a reservation on the weekend. Good option if you are in the mood for high quality pasta.

We absolutely love this place! We drive from Lincoln, Nebraska to visit our son, and this is our first stop when we get to Minneapolis. The food is phenomenal, and the wait staff is second to none. You have to order the tiramisu and a limoncello after dinner - it's a magical combination.

Tried Rinata for a Friday date night. We got there around 5:30pm and were seated very fast. It did start to pick up a bit later. If you're planning on going around 7:00pm I would recommend making a reservation. The house Cabernet was delicious. I wish you could order a bottle of it for the table. We got the Ravioli which was also very good. Loved supporting this smaller business with a very friendly staff. Will be back to try the Spaghetti and Creme Brulee.

A true Minneapolis hidden gem. Been coming for years— always incredible service and delicious food. The server explained the pastas are made in house, and you can definitely tell in the taste. I have a big loud family, with small children and crazy adults, and I have never once felt uneasy or unwelcome at Rinata. Truly a very enjoyable atmosphere, the servers are nice and knowledgeable, and the food is great. And whenever I have friends in town this is a spot I come and can count on for a good night. They get it right every time!

I have been visiting Rinata as my go to spot for authentic Italian cuisine for 10+ years now & have never once been disappointed. The relaxed ambiance makes it a great spot for dinner with friends, clients, and especially date night. It is family owned & service has always been 10/10 with one of the friendliest waitstaff in Minnesota. They have a wide variety of cocktails & I promise you if you think of something that isn't listed, whoever is behind the bar at the time will be more than happy to make it happen for you! My favorite entrée is the spaghetti & meatballs. You just can't go wrong with it & for something that sounds so simple, they have a way of really doing it up. I think it's in the house made sauce. I typically frequent a seat at the bar & so have seen many faces walk in & out of their doors, but I think the thing I admire the most about this establishment is how they treat every guest as if they were a part of the family themselves. Treating people that way is something that can't be taught, but instead it takes a certain person to display.

Look alive people! We all say we want a comfortable old shoe restaurant that we can walk to, relax over a great beverage and really good food…then we drive to the suburbs and mash super ordinary. Stop. If you’re in or near Southwest Minneapolis it’s Rinata! The food rocks, the drinks are first class, barely keeping up with the wine list. Rated high on the bring your date list but atop the eat alone at the bar list anywhere in these Twin Cities

Cute comfy little italian neighborhood spot with great food! Well curated menu and drinks. Everything we've had there has been great to excellent. It's a small space with three distinct dining areas and one is just so so. But they do try to spread everyone out so that it doesn't seem crowded or loud until they are probably 90% capacity.

Best Italian spot in the Cities for legit Italian cuisine (not the spot if you’re looking for American Italian - head to Carmelo’s for a great option). Nice cocktail and wine list, good NA options, and cozy atmosphere, plus Italian-style service: knowledgeable and friendly without interrupting your meal every few minutes. The pasta is the highlight by far; their bolognese is the only one that comes close to my own, which uses the recipe given to me by the chef at the American Academy in Rome.

A very cute space for very tasty food, We loved everything we tried! They had gluten free pasta that was better than the norm and the sauces were fantastic. Our waiter, Johnny, was an absolute delight! He was very friendly and attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. He really made a good experience a great one!
