It is a must try! Personally my favorite authentic Italian in the twin cities! They also make the best drink if you are into old fashions, you must try their Cedar drink.

Lauren S was excellent. So friendly and incredibly helpful (esp with my parents who have trouble understanding difficult Italian words lol). So obvious every dish was made with care and quality. No corners were cut. The Olive Oil Chocolate Torte was my favorite dessert we tried. The salt and sweet and nutty flavors, so good. My brother got the Ricotta Cavatelli and I was kind of jealous I didn't get it- WOW! Will 100% be coming back. Please come here.

One of my favorite Italian food places in the Twin Cities, if not my favorite! I will easily rank IE (Italian Eatery) on my Top 3 list in the Italian food category. I visited here again after 8 months when I first visited it, and my experience back then was already amazing, and this time it was just out of this world. Nothing but incredible! Instead of goat cheese ricotta, this time IE had "Casa Ricotta" which was just as good, as the ricotta had a strong goat cheese flavor. It was a delicious and filling $10 appetizer. Their artichoke dip and seasonal heirloom carrots were both amazing! The artichoke dip was more flavorful than the typical kind you would find elsewhere. The carrots tasted good by themselves already, but the honey whipped feta and the pistachio mix just added another layer of flavor. I loved carrots by themselves already, and was experience a new type of flavor when dipping the carrots in the feta mix. Loved it very much. Now the pasta: I know their most popular is mushroom cappelletti, which I could definitely see why. It was very, very savory. The creme fraiche worked very well with the shoyu and thyme to provide a unique type of savor that totally enhanced my experience. The spaghettini nero, which I could guess was also a popular item, tasted pretty good as well! I could not complain much when it's red sauce, seafood, and squid-ink pasta combined together. The only downside was that the pasta came in a coagulated entity, not broken apart, which led me to thinking for a split second whether the pasta was frozen first. Regardless, even if it is, I have no issues with frozen food, and I thought it was delicious regardless. The seasonal Pappardello was out of this world! It exemplified many flavors and tasted both savory and sweet, in such pleasant manners. It also exemplified many textures and tasted creamy (due to the yam puree), doughy (pappardello pasta), and liquidy (honey). It single-handedly opened my eyes to the endless possibilities of food combinations and I was really inspired at that moment. My ricotta cavatelli was amazing as well, in the most conventional way. Pasta, red sauce, bolognese, just classic, and I enjoyed it very much. The melograno chicken, man, was also out of this world! The chicken thigh had one flavor and texture, then the chicken skin had another (heavily seasoned and crispy), then combined with the creme fraiche, pomegranate, and pistachio, once again opening my eyes to the endless possibilities of food combinations, because I can tell you that I have never seen chicken made this way and it was just so good! Finally, in terms of dessert, I enjoyed all of them! The chocolate olive oil torte, the tiramisu, the gelato from Un Dito next door, and the new Cafe Torta. They were all above average, and I would recommend each one of them. Today my partner and I tried Cafe Torta, and we liked it very much because it was diverse types of sweetness working together to achieve this dessert flavor. It wasn't just sugar on top of sugar on top of sugar, etc., and felt like the sweetness had depth. A tiny bit of the espresso gelato would go a long way with the stuff beneath it. Simply amazing. So yeah, what else can I say? It's an amazing food spot. Highly recommend! I am very grateful for their existence.

This place is lovely. We came at a perfect time, right before the rush and sat at the bar. It was nice to be able to order a dish (calamari) from next door at UN Dito as well. Love the decor inside and cute outdoor patio. I loved sitting at the bar but outside. Super cute! I would definitely return, especially for the dry rub short rib.

This place is a gem. We have been here countless times and every time we are reminded how grateful we are to have this place in the neighborhood. Cozy Italian Rustic Modern decor, pasta made from scratch, and exciting and rotating seasonal menus. The staff takes the dining experience and really elevates it to another level. They are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to recommend different menu options if you are new to their restaurant. We have brought guests here from out of town, friends, family, had pre-wedding dinners here, Valentines Dinners, summer patio date nights and every time we leave completely content having eaten great food and being treated like a true guest by every one of the staff. 11/10. Would highly recommend for food AND service.

My wife and I went here for dinner. We have rode bubthis place a thousand times and never stopped. So we came over and I'm glad we did...its hard to please my wife with Italian food as she fashions herself an expert. We got the meatballs which were great. She got the Cavetelli and I got the fruci...not sure I'm saying right but it is their summer pasta which is all handmade in house. We also got some of the risotto which had artichokes in it. Very large place and the service was awesome. We will go back for sure....well maybe my wife thinks the waitress had a crush on me so we will see haha. No seriously check this place out !

Excellent service. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Drinks were spectacular. Food was really good. They skimp a little on the bread. I'm used to getting bread right away, and lots of it, at most Italian restaurants. Here, they brought it after the food and it was a pretty small loaf. They did bring more, but it seemed like they were being stingy.

Absolutely incredible experience on all fronts. We went here for our anniversary and shared a couple of plates. Our server Adam had fantastic recommendations and made sure we liked the food. We started with the lamb bocconcini which was literally bursting with flavor. I didn’t know lamb could be cooked medium rare, but it was amazing. The pappardelle sauce was incredible and the pork was perfectly cooked. The mushroom cappelletti was super rich but amazing as well. They were great complimentary dishes to share. I also tried the Nebbia bianca cocktail and it was the perfect summer drink. Very light and citrusy. They gave us a complimentary strawberry sorbet for our anniversary which was so nice! There was a long wait for patio spots on a Friday evening and inside was mostly full with reservations, so planning ahead is recommended! Very aesthetic dining area.
