Hands Down. This is my favorite steak house in the state of MN. Always treated with top notch service, always personally thanked for dinning, the food ALL of the food from the meats to the deserts are all phenomenal tasting! I recommend Ruth Chris over and over again!

Now that's a steak!. Over the past fifteen plus years Ruth Chris Steak House has been the place for memorable and important celebrations. Dinner with the love of my life, my brother's groomsmen before his wedding fourteen years ago, celebration of my nephew's acceptance into grad school and many more ocassions. I will always appreciate the special birthday dessert tray for my love. The food is always perfect. Watching my nephew and his college buddy each tackle the cowboy ribeye and still have room for a couple sides was fun. The room is large and the meal always feels private. The wait staff are professionals. For years I carried the card of the waiter "Gus" and requested him. I was saddend to hear he had passed away. So many great moments to be celebrated. Ruth Chris is one place to go to celebrate special moments. Parking is in the lot across the street or valet. Easy to find. Not much around this part of downtown Minneapolis. For the price, the food and experience are worth every penny.
Yummy food as always but this was the worst service we have had. Waiter talking to friends at next table while we were ignored. Also made reservation and seated at bar area!! Grrr.
Best steak, besides Fogo De Chao, you won't find a better tasting steak around here
Filet was done just as I requested, I have had better Caesar salads but it was okay, Mash Potatoes creamy but tasty.
Steak is what they do best.. I go out for a nice steak dinner every year on my birthday -- this year was Ruth's Chris and it was my favorite steak since starting the tradition. I always get a ribeye, and theirs is the best I've had in the Twin Cities (so far). So if that is what you are after, go here. As far as the rest...it was enjoyable, it was good, but the steak was the star. Service was mostly prompt although it did slow down briefly at times. The bread and salad were delicious but not the best I've ever had. I felt the sides were somewhat forgettable (didn't even bother with the mashed potatoes althouth the creamed spinach was a little more notable) and I actively DISLIKED the desserts (they need to get a dedicated pastry chef in there or something). But who cares about dessert when the steaks are perfect? And here, they are.
Everything from the service, quality of the food, and the final cheque are to die for! Awesome!
Yum, Yum & Yum. I had the 6oz Steak w/Shrimp and the Roasted Brussels Sprouts. I must go back because the steak was made perfectly medium-rare and melted in my mouth. We were a table of five guests and their waitstaff were excellent, very attentive, professional.
Great Steak. If you've got the dough, spend it here. The steak is unbelieveable. I took the wife here for our anniversary. She wanted to go to the Mall of America for our getaway, and I said, "OK, as long as we can go to Ruth's Chris". She was fine, and I was in 7th heaven. She got new shoes and I got the best steak I've eaten outside of Texas.
Loved it!. Dined there last night for the first time. The food was fantastic!. The service was just as good as the food. However, Ruth's is VERY EXPENSIVE! While I will NOT say it wasn't worth it, diners should be aware of the prices before ordering to avoid problems when the bill arrives.

We held a business luncheon at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Minneapolis.
As you’d expect from Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, everything was amazing. But the biggest reason for my review is the staff. Lynn and Jesse were AMAZING! They were attentive, professional and accommodating. Having traveled out of state for a conference, there were several things I had forgotten - But they were both there with everything I forget to ensure a successful event. The level of service was truly above and beyond!
They have fantastic meats, succulent side dishes, and fun desserts. Great cocktails, and nice reliable options for after-dinner drinks. The service is top notch. Wonderful ambience.
My boyfriend treated me for my 29th birthday to Ruth Chris and Lynn was our server. I don’t know which I loved more, Lynn or the food! Lynn was one of the most genuine and kind servers we’ve ever met. Not only was she knowledgeable of the menu and helped me decide what to get, her smile and attitude is contagious! Give this woman a raise! Thanks so much for the memorable experience. The food and service was a 10/10!
I finally went to the famous Ruth’s Chris for the first time and it exceeded my expectations! My server Lynn was kind and very informative about all the great menu items. I don’t usually care for cesar salad but the one that came with my meal left a mark on my tastebuds. The decor had a romantic setting and their alcohol options make for a great variety no matter your preference. The Pomegranate martini is a great cocktail to try!!
Classic steakhouse experience with a wide selection of meats, seafood and appetizers. I appreciate their promotional menu as well which has a pretty good combo deal. Portions are large so order appropriately!
We hosted our Company Holiday gathering at Ruth’s Chris in Minneapolis and it was excellent. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. Meghan was great to work with in getting the event booked and Lynn, Brian and Zay took excellent care of us during the social hour and meal. I received great feedback on Lynn’s presentation of the menu. From the minute we arrived until our departure everything ran flawlessly. Great work Ruth’s Chris.
Just had one of the best steaks in my life! From the appetizers to the drinks and of course the steaks, everything was amazing. Our server Jesse was energetic, attentive, and his suggestions were very spot on. The way we were treated made all the difference. I will definitely be back for more!
This was my first time at Ruth’s Chris and I do not have a single complaint! The food was phenomenal and the service was excellent! Our waiter Rhett was attentive and helped ensure we got the most out of our dining experience!! Definitely looking forward to going back!
Perfect 10. The waiter, Jesse is awesome! These three extra thick marinated chops with fresh mint taste excellent. It's amazing! We also ordered the Ruth Chopped Salad, which is amazing, as well. As for drinks, we ordered a bottle of zinfandel prisoners. Fantastic night!
