This is a time capsule into the past. If you're looking for an ultramodern vibe you won't get it here. But if you want to journey into the late 80s vibe and have a cocktail with your really good cracker thin crust pizza than jump in! Run by the owners, they are doing it all and prob nearing retirement so take your time and don't expect the service to be lightning quick. Sip that drink and chill w your friends. Wear your sunglasses at night. It'll be alright...
My friend and I ate at this restaurant on a Tuesday night at 6:30. We ordered a deluxe pizza and we thought it was very good and reasonably priced. We were the only ones there for the entire hour. I will eat there again because the pizza was good, it was a very clean place and they had the wine that I really like.
Come here for the amazing atmosphere, say hi to Kathy and definitely don't sleep on the pizza here.
Been ordering pizza there for years. Very good, although you may want to order extra crispy crust, because a couple times I had one where the crust was a bit soggy in the middle. However dining in was never a good experience. I do not want to speak too poorly about Francis the owner, being around 90 years old, and in poor health. But before his stroke he wasn't the most pleasant fellow. I overheard other people make a statement, "he must be Crabby." The interior is a depressing 1970s kind of upscale. Kind of expected to see a few sad soused businessmen crying in their beers. Most the time you will find you're the only one there. But once again, very good pizza.
Best pizza in Bayview cash only great cocktails
I've eaten here more times than I can count. The shrimp dishes are what I usually order and they're all yummy! Loved every homemade soup Kathy cooks too. The pizza is awesome!!! Homemade dressings on a pretty good-size salad comes w/ dinners.
Pizza here has always been my family’s favorite! When I visit I also have the pizza burger. The bread loaf is made local and is crisp and always fresh!
Crabby's has the Milwaukee supper club atmosphere down to a science, like out of an old Collier's magazine Blatz ad.
Everything they make is fresh except for french fries. Steaks cut to order. Milwaukee-style cracker-crust pizza brimming with homemade sausage. Supper-club era menu with lots of shrimp dishes.
Yes, the owner of Crabby's and the owner of Roman's are having a contest to see who can be the surliest bar owner on the KK, but it's classic barman surliness you can't see anymore. And he's honest about it, it's called Crabby's.
You know what? Don't go to Crabby's. I'll go to Crabby's for adult food and vodka martinis and you go to some chain restaurant for fake chipper people around you.
Very good thin crust pizza. Cash only. My fiance and I have gone so often we've become good friends with the owners.
Cash only and limited menu. Pizza, pizzaburgers and garlic bread and sometimes meatball sandwiches all made fresh and made to order. The friendliest service!
