Smoke Shack

Got seated immediately with no wait. Always great food every time I come here. The brisket was really good. They gave me slices where lean and fat was mixed so it was really juicy and tasted great. I got the pulled pork with it which was still very good tasting as well. We went there fairly late on a Wednesday night. Roughly around 6:30-7pm. The server was very attentive but did not bring me out my 2 spotted cows together as I ordered 2 right away. Not sure why I had to finish one before bringing me my 2nd one. That was my only complaint. Everything else was great. Creamed corn was very tasteful along with the beans. We didn't finish everything as it can fill you up very quickly. Definitely recommended giving this place a try.

Oh, man! Oh, man! This place is an altar of worship at the church of smoke and meaty goodness! If you are ever in Milwaukee and have a hankering for barbecue, I mean, really, really amazing barbecue, this is the place! You can not go wrong with the smoked chicken wings! Tasty dry rubbed wings smoked to juicy perfection with a crunchy skin... excellent by itself or dipped in that house-made ranch. Do order at least three meats... you can not go wrong here! Everything is smoked perfection. I loved being able to try all the sauces, as well! The sides were great, as well... coleslaw was good with a bit of pepperyiness. The four cheese mac was excellent, as well as the broccoli slaw. Service was attentive and engaging, and I certainly enjoyed the recommendations. Would I go here again? Oh, you betcha I would... I can't wait to try some more mouthwatering smoked meats!

Cool spot, great food, big patio. Service was awesome, food came out fast, fresh, and hot. Everything was great. Pictured is the Shack Daddy sandwich (pulled pork, brisket, and sausage) with sweet potato fries. Definitely recommend and will come back. Cool area of Milwaukee, close to shops, bars, and the public market.

There is so much to be said about the amazing lunch I had today at the Smoke Shack! First of all, Thank you to Heidi our server she is such a sweetheart and checked multiple times to make sure we were overly accommodated! Thank you to all the other staff as well especially in the kitchen because the food is flavorful and the menu is largely organized. All in all my advice get off your phone and run straight to Smoke Shack!

Stopped here on our way back home out of Wisconsin and so glad we did. The service was great, the staff had smiles and were friendly. Our server Danielle was amazing and took great care of us. The food was all amazing flavors. The coleslaw and Mac were extremely rich and portions were just right .The rang of bbq sauces that were presented were all very tasteful. Sat on the patio and the whole vibe was just right. The strawberry lemonade was so bomb it had fresh muddled strawberries. Definitely recommend !

We stopped in here before a Foo Fighter show. My family absolutely loves BBQ. From the ambiance, to the service, to the drinks, to the food. They knocked it all out of the park. When we walked in the hostess was super friendly and got us sat quickly after having to help clean the table for our server. Our server was also super friendly and helpful. The bourbon list at this place is also legit! I went with a local beer and my wife went with the old fashioned on the menu. Both were great. Her old fashioned was a little sweet for me but it literally says brown butter washed bourbon and smoke orange juice so I knew what she was getting into. She loved it. She ordered the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with potato salad. The sandwiches were good. They have a great selection of sauces on the table as well. But what blew us both away was our sides! And my son agreed! He’s a Mac and cheese aficionado! It was probably the best mac and cheese and potato salad we have ever had. AND I COMPLETELY FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES OF THE FOOD! We will be back!
