Great food. Fast service. Excellent Chicago dogs.
The older location had customer comments and responses from management on the wall. There were also political messages against our President. Glad to see that wasn't there at the new place, I'm here for the food, not a rant on our current governmental policy.
My only complaint is about the nachos. Cheese is just dumped on the chips and not provided in a cup so most times I'm left with half a container of chips but no cheese for them as I ate the chips with the cheese. Sure i probably could have paid for extra cheese but I don't
Sprecher Root Beer is on tap and you have free refills so that's a plus!

I can't believe I lived in West Allis for 22 years and never ate here before today! The food was top notch! I had the corn dog and my husband had the jumbo Chicago dog. The customer service was wonderful! Everyone was so nice! I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was including the bathrooms! I would recommend this place to all my friends and I will eat here again! Also a side note... today I checked something off my bucket list and that was to sit on one of the hand shaped chairs. :-)

Long time local establishment. Been going here since I was in grade school. Shakes are great. Best hot dog in the area. Owner is a genuine hard working small business guy. Love the feel of the inside. I wish they had a larger eating space with games and pinball like the old days, but I imagine a spot like this is much more cost effective. I no longer live in the area, but I’ll always stop by if I’m in the area!
Great food at throwback prices. Staff was working so hard and had a great attitude! Other than a gross bathroom the place was Top Dog!
Sammy's is the spot! The atmosphere is very Americana and nostalgic. Everywhere you look there is an interesting piece of art from American culture. The food was authentic as it gets and there is plenty to choose from. I got the Chicago dog meal deal and a chocolate shake and they were created perfectly! You also got a generous amount of fries with the meal. The chocolate shake even had a wafer cookie as a mini treat! The prices are also top notch and very affordable for a large group or family. I advise going Sunday for their hotdog meal deal. It's probably the best value for your money in the entire state. I HIGHLY recommend giving Sammy's a try for your hot dog and sweet tooth needs!

I remember when my mom worked here. I'd always see her. She'd get me a shake with my fav wafer, and a hot dog while I'd open pokemon cards. Best days ever. Even though that's the past, I still enjoy the food and the customer service! If you're ever in Milwaukee, please stop here! 💙 xoxo
I've going to this place for years. Food is fantastic service is very friendly. If you've never been there. You must go there to see for yourself.
This place is awesome! Granted, it's not much to look at, but trust me, the food is outstanding! Love the Chicago style dogs! And the fries were amazing, too!
