The pollo mole poblano is incredible! I liked the fondue too though the cheese cooled too fast into a sticky thick mass and the green chile strips tasted more like bell pepper than Anaheim or any other hot pepper. Service was prompt and courteous. It is a pretty location with outdoor seating. It gets very busy.

Creative high level south west menus. Not just another enchilada bar. Menu is not found anywhere in this part of the country so unusual. Fish dishes outstanding. Love it, love it.

I was disappointed in the portion size of the 3 Cheese Chicken for the price. Very overpriced for the amount of food you get. Had I known it was a very very small portion of chicken I would've ordered something else. On another note, the french fries were next level delicious.

Funny place. Sounds Italian but it’s not. It’s more Mexican with a little Italian thrown in. Regardless , it’s almost amazing. The food is great. The sauces are amazing, the service is excellent. If you go there and don’t like it, I probably don’t want to know you. Lol

Yummy good, cute and intimate ambiance both inside and outside. Their breakfast and lunch menus are solidly good with decent prices. Their dinner menu is also tasty with good portions. I recommend this place for special occasions, brunch with friends, anything ! They're also good about accommodating decently large parties like 6-12 ppl.

If you're tired of run-of-the-mill Mexican food, get to Paisano's; you won't be disappointed. The menu is extraordinary and everything we've tried is delicious. And a dog-friendly patio on a quiet street is a great bonus.

We ordered the mole dish and Chile en nogado. The textures and flavors of the Chile en nogados complement each other and with the cream it just melts in your mouth. The empanadas were worth the wait, just delicious. We are always pleased with the food. here and plan on returning.

Driving from here to there, east bound in I -10, it was lunch time and we were passing through Las Cruces. We rolled the dice for a lunch stop: Google maps, "Restaurant near me". Paisano Cafe was near the top. "Paisano" is Italian, but the listing says Mexican. So we did. Paisano Cafe is on a quiet local street, surrounded by the New Mexico pueblo style architecture. Inside, you'll feel the comfort of an old school high ceilinged neighborhood restaurant. We ordered Paisano Cobb salad and Chiles en Nogada (Chiles in walnut sauce. Later the server told us this is the National Dish is Mexico). Well, the plates were as well presented as I've seen. (See my photos.) After a bit, my companion said, "Can we just move here and eat here every day?" 'Nuff said. If you live in Las Cruces, you've already moved nearby. Everybody else passing through on I-10 will have to get off at exit 140 and go south a bit towards Mesilla. Reader, if any review here helps you decide, just give the reviewer a helpful thumbs up!

We enjoyed it. Food was good. Service was good. The booth was tight. Would recommend a table. Outside seating would be fun if not so hot.

The booth was tight. Should have sat at a table. No bread offered but a side order was good addition. The entre came before we could finish our salad. Good wine selection. The salmon was delicious 😋 the fettuccine was a big portion.
