Been here 6 times and I will keep coming back. Bartender made great drinks... food is a bit pricey for what you get... perfect for first dates and special events...

My brother and I were invited to the Double Eagle restaurant several weeks ago. The restaurant is located in a historic building in old Mesilla. It had been quite awhile since I had been in the Double Eagle and it is without any doubt one of the most beautiful restaurants that I have ever been in. The Double Eagle offers a variety of food choices from American, Southwestern, steaks, seafood, and even vegan. I had the green chili enchiladas and the food was excellent. The wait staff were professional and very attentive. The visit to the Double Eagle restaurant was definitely worth the trip.

My 3rd visit here on my annual road trip. This opportunity is not to be missed. The building, the staff, the food, the drink, the total package of the experience at Double Eagle is worth it

The Imperial Bar is a spectacular part of the Double Eagle. The artwork and furniture are gorgeous throughout. The bartenders were pleasant and efficient.

Food is reasonably priced. We were walk ins so we did wait like 10 min to be seated so reservations may be wise to avoid this. Our server was great. Coffee was served at the end of the meal but was cold. The venue is very nice old West and has character.

Looking pretty shabby poor old place. The food and service are still outstanding though.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there. We spent the week in Las Cruces and Double Eagle was recommended for our anniversary dinner. These Fort Worth, Texas foodies had an amazing time. ♥️♥️

Historical building with tons of history. Haunted, too! Built from the original residence that was the first in Old Town Mesilla. The bar was owned by Mobster, AL Capone. Dining rooms with different themes from tropical to formal dining. Don't miss this place. Explore the history.

1. There are 4-5 dining sections. Botanical section, luxury European style section with long curtains, fancy antique alcohol bar, decent table section. 2. The taste of the food is fine but not stunning. 3. It takes a long time to have branch, even though there are not too many people. 4. Better to have bottle water rather than tap water.

Incredible place. Definitely haunted. For those interested in the paranormal or just want to visit a historical location, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is lovely, every room is unique and beautiful. Service here is also amazing. Our orders were taken promptly and we were able to have a nice conversation with our server as well as explore some of the rooms. We even got to see some lights flicker and a lamp move in the famous Carlotta Salon, it was really cool. The food was delicious too. The avocado toast was topped with perfectly poached eggs, flavorful mushrooms, and a creamy hollandaise sauce. My family had a few other dishes, such as the chicken sandwich that was also very well made. For dessert, we had the banana enchiladas and the dulce de leche churros. Both were delicious. They were just the right combination of sweetness and a great way to wrap up our visit. This was a wonderful experience, I would 100% come back again.
