We went to Tia Rosa for the first time today as we just moved to the area. This will be our new “go to” place. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server was on top of everything and very friendly. The decor is so fun. I can’t wait to come back when it’s cooler so we can sit outside!

The food prices have really gone up, but we both had burritos and could only eat half. The amount of meat in my burrito was insane!! If you're good with leftovers, it makes the meal cost effective. The decor is amazing, lots of colors of Mexico. It is however, a large building, and the acoustics are not good. We were in a booth and had a large party near us. As with all large parties, they were fairly loud and made having a quiet meal impossible. That said, I have been there with large parties and on the giving end of being loud.... The waitress was hurried and tired. No check on us in the middle of the meal. At the end of the night, we found out she had been there all day and had to arrive again at 8:30am. They can't get enough help. It had been a long day for her and we tipped her well.

Our family loves this beautiful location. For years we've been going here for special occasions. Always attentive, we usually have large tables and they take care of us without a hitch. We love the flavor in their food and excellent margaritas. Pro tip: Weather permitting, ask to be seated on the patio.

Haven't been here in 18 years. The decor is fun and authentic. They offer a different Mexican style cuisine. More on the sweet side in their recipes, not the spicier Sonoran style that we are used to in Arizona. However, with that said... we were not disappointed with the 3 options of tacos (pork, beef, and chicken) offered on their Taco Tuesday menu. The tacos are only $2.50 on Tuesdays and are plentiful! They also offered $2.50 drafts of beer during happy hour. If you do need a spicy pickup, then order a side of their habanero sauce. It is not just spicy but has a really nice flavor. The dessert we chose was churros and ice cream. I shared it with four people. Complimentary to the meal. Paula was our server, and Lindsey was assisting her as we were a large group. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We all really enjoyed ourselves here.

Wanted to try the "Two Tamale Sampler" which can be green corn or red chili pork with side of black beans. I asked if I could try one of each, and on the bill it ended up being separate charges $5+$5+$3=$13 when the sampler is $16. Pluses 99¢ margaritas on Monday, cash discount (ex $42 bill would have added $1.68 card charge) fav salsa was "picante" which apparently you have to ask for. Cute place. Minuses the front didn't seem to have air conditioning so waiting for a table was quite hot. Booth seat cushions are worn and peeling.

A friend and I had dinner. It seemed a little pricey, but they don't skimp on the food. A large serving, more than either myself or friend could eat at one time. We both had to get to go boxes and boxed over half our plates of food. The food was tasty. The chips and salsas were made fresh in house. We went on a Friday but if you like margaritas the day to go is Mondays they have .99 cent margaritas. And they have a large selection to choose from. I recommend the prickly pear margarita.. if you like something a little sweet and different.

The green corn tamale was delicious! The green sauce is a bit sweet, which I love! The margaritas were delicious. The chips and salsa were really good and tasted fresh. I also thought the rice and beans were really good. The service was a bit weird. We had a big table. Instead of the server coming to the other end of the table to take orders, he had us yell across the table... there was ample room on both sides of the table. Other than that, it was all good.

This is a charming place. I had Peach Glazed Chicken with potatoes and corn. It was fabulous. Margaritas were yummy & great service.

Enchiladas were excellent... Monday margaritas special for 99 cents amazing value. Staff was fantastic. Only minor complaint is the salsa could use a Lil more spice for my taste....that's just me.

We’ve been here a few times under different ownership, and we’re very pleased with our visit today! A few things to know: - very large portion size, like larger than your average Mexican size - excellent service, they had our water and chips on the table before we sat down - queso was a tasty appetizer
