I drove by this place for years and thought I’d might eventually stop by one day. I finally ventured out and gave them a try. WOW, was I in for a surprise. The service was stellar. When we walked in, our hostess, Cindy was kind enough to give us the seat of our choice. Beyond that, our server, Kelly, elevated our experience to another level. She knew the menu well, answered all our questions, and was very attentive. I was also surprised on how reasonable the menu prices were. Once you add in the fact that the food was phenomenal, you know you’re in the right place. I had the lobster Mac and cheese and couldn’t have been happier. I also had the fig/pesto bruschetta and it was so delicious, that I had to order a 2nd round. If you’re on the fence about il Vinaio, don’t do what I did and wait years before trying. I highly recommend this place.

This is our second visit and I wish we lived closer! The wine list is eclectic and good value. The food is amazing and rhe specials are worth it. The staff will do everything to make your dining experience amazing. This is now our go to for when we have an event in Mesa and make rhe drive from north Phoenix.

I had the most amazing dinner here. Gluten-free chicken parmesan was the best I’ve ever had it was so crispy. Cider from France and gluten free bread pudding. This place is one of a kind. Thank you guys!

We had the most utterly wonderful experience here. The charm of the staff and ambiance of the interior were matched only by the excellent food and beverage. The micro-brewed double hop IPA and red blend wine were excellent accompaniments to the caprese appetizer which included a cream filled mozzarella ball, tomato slices and fresh whole basil - a very special treat when combined with their “to die for” rustic garlic toast that tasted homemade. Per the menu, they source much of their products from natural sources. We plan to return with my parents for my mom’s birthday next week for their weekend brunch. We would highly recommend Il Vinaio to anyone looking for a unique and elegant dining experience.

The building has been here a long time and gone thru several incarnations. I think that THAT might make some people hesitant... but, lemme tell you, the menu is surprisingly progressive, fresh and spiced to perfection. It's run by husband and wife and service is prompt and genuine. We had great food and felt warm and welcomed!

This place is THE place you need to try. On my birthday me and my bestfriend found this place while searching for bottomless drinks. We went to brunch sunday morning and to our surprise it was an empty restaurant. This place is not empty because it’s bad, it’s empty because it’s hidden, if you go you have to go through the parking lot of the taco bell next door. The chef there is personable we were able to talk with him and tell him how great his food is. Came for the bottomless champagne and stayed for breakfast and lunch! Oh and spent less than 100 dollars for 2 breakfasts, 2 bottomless drinks, and 2 lunches.

Walked in late on a Saturday night looking for dessert. The chocolate torte and almond gelato were amazing. Had the place to ourselves and which gave us plenty of time to chat with the Owners Cindy and Cameron. Will definitely be coming back for a full meal. Highly recommend such a great atmosphere.

Pretty good little spot! The name makes you think it's Italian, but there are only a couple of pasta dishes on the menu. We almost left but decided to stay, and I'm glad we did. We tried the hummus, which had plenty of veggies, pita, and almonds with 2 types of hummus. I had the Salisbury steak, which was a thick burger patty with a rich demi sauce. I asked for no mushrooms, and it came with mushrooms, but I just picked them out and ate my whole meal as it was delicious. The flatbreads are just pita bread with toppings, but it was decent enough. The burgers were really good, and Josh was fantastic as our server. Overall, we enjoyed everything.
