The food would've been good had I paid $6 for the salad instead of almost $12. It just wasn't worth it. I know it's not bbq but if it's on the menu it should be up to par.

Really good food. I have been to Tom’s barbecue plenty of times. Anything on the menu is delicious. I recommended the loaded baked potatoes if you can make room in your diet.

My only complaint is they don't sell an air freshener. My sandwich smelled amazing (the Jumbo Pork + Brisket sandwich). Also tasted amazing. Juicy, smoky, rich. They put a little BBQ sauce on but I barely tasted it. I normally drown it in sauce, but it was amazing without it. To top it off, the price is great. Infinity better food for significantly less $ than the chain restaurants.

My family of 4 came to Tom’s BBQ on McKellips for lunch today. This was our first time eating at Tom’s. Everything was amazing tasting! Here’s what we ordered: Pulled Pork sandwich with Mac and Cheese, Burnt Ends sandwich with fries, 1/2 lb. Brisket with Mac and Cheese and Brisket sandwich with potato salad. The sandwiches were hefty on a large bun, and the sides were in a good size side container. My husband’s fries looked amazing and crispy. This may have been the first time I’ve ever gotten potato salad and actually liked it! There was very little fat on the brisket, which can be a challenge. Just a great lunch! Please bring Tom’s BBQ to Queen Creek/San Tan!

Got takeout. Food good. Their home-made potato chips excellent. Went back a week later and got the fish. Well prepared. Also their BBQ stuffed baked potato was very nice.

We entered the restaurant about 7:15 and were told they close at 8. They still fixed our order for 7 people. Everybody was really pleased with their food. The brisket is to die for. We never felt rushed to leave. Thank you guys for serving us so late. We were hungry and knew that nothing was open in our neck of the woods. 1/2 to Chino valley and the rest of us to Payson. Hope to visit you again soon.

I'm not a huge barbecue guy, but I decided to check this place out recently and was pleasantly surprised with the food. Barbecue food always seems a bit expensive to me, but if you're in the area and in the mood, I think this place is definitely worth checking out. The dining room was never packed but also had a steady stream of dine in customers and pick up orders. My wife is a seafood fan so I bought her the fish and shrimp dinner; she wasn't impressed. I for one will continue to visit this business when I'm in the area and in the mood for a pulled pork barbecue sandwich.
