I absolutely love this place. Wonderful customer service, small personal hole-in-a-wall restaurant, and great food! They have a wide variety of salsas, a fresh soda machine, and delicious tamales. You won't be disappointed.
Don't let the size fool you!! This place was great. Everything is super fresh and very tasty. Really good salsa bar. Will be back again!!
So I can't give him a 4.5 so 4 will have to do.
Having moved into the area recently I've been on the hunt for some real authentic tacos.
This place nailed it.
The tacos are authentic, the food all handmade in the back. The ingredients are all fresh, I recommend the Crazy tacos. I overdid it with 3, they are very large!
Also, salsa. Nobody in Mesa does salsa right, not a single one of these sit downs can do salsa...it's always always watery mess.
Loreto's breaks that trend. Chunky, homemade lots of lime and cilantro. Great stuff.
Service was exceptional, friendly and they really make you feel at home.
Oh and pro tip, Tuesdays and Thursdays they do 1$ chicken and beef tacos.
4.5/5.
So far, best mom and pop Taco place in town!
Great Burritos, Great Prices! Small, hole-in-the wall place. I was very impressed with the quality of the food. I did take-out and the food & tortilla chips were awesome! Don't expect a chain restaurant style environment. It's very casual but the food was very authentic.
Amazing authentic street tacos. My son and I like to spend our free time expanding our favorite places to eat list. This place is definitely near the top. The owner makes everything fresh on the spot. I had the Crazy Taco combo and it was expertly assembled with hand made corn tortillas, fresh cut avocado, Carne asada, dusted with fresh cilantro. Surrounded by some of the best beans and rice I've had.
Supper friendly service. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they offer .99 cent tacos. I will be back soon to sample some of their other culinary creations.
This gem is tucked away in a corner of a strip style shopping center so keep an eye out.
Found this place online while looking for somewhere to go to for taco Tuesday. It had great reviews so figured I'd give it a try and glad I did. The tacos were delicious and the price was great too. Can't wait to go back and try more items from their menu.
Probably the best taco shop ever!!! Some of the best tasting tacos ever, people are super nice and make you feel like part of the family. They even came in on Sunday when they are normally closed just to make a special birthday order for my mother in law.
Love love love! Food here is authentic and delicious. My favorite is the crazy taco with the avocado and bacon... Delish! It's family owned and the guy Loreto is always super friendly and smiling. His wife does most of the cooking and she's amazing too. My husband and I go there about once a week for lunch. I take everyone I know there and they too have great things to say! I definitely recommend this place if you want a quick delish lunch. The wait isn't ever long, it's a smaller establishment, so they aren't real fancy with decor and what not. I wish they'd do it up a bit, but I hope they don't change the recipes, ever!
We eat here at least twice a week while we are in AZ: 6 months, during the winter. Our absolute favorite place for all "comida mexicano". My husband says this is closest to what his mama used to make...and we've tried a lot of places! Some of our favorites are: chicken tacos, fish tacos, tamales, and their rice, beans and salsa are fabulous! After reading some of these reviews, I can't wait to try a crazy taco!! Jose: Susanna and Enrique MISS YOU and can't wait to get back to AZ to come eat at your great restaurant! See you in November!!
Great little mom and pop restaurant! Tacos and fish tacos are scrumptious! Hubby and I eat here a couple times a week. Maria's cooking reminds my hubby of his mother's cooking. Friendly owner, Jose, always has a smile!
