Fantastic food! Excellent presentation and waiters are exceptional. One thing I noticed when they serve the food everyone gets the food at the same time at the table with help from the staff! Great attention to detail. Bravo

Wow! Everything about this place was awesome. From the ambiance to the service to the food! The gnocchi was by far the best I have EVER had anywhere across the globe! The Halibut was flakey and tasty. The hamburger was large, juicy and flavorful. The lemon Hummus was DELICIOUS! The olives...exquisite! All around 5 star experience!
Menlo Tavern is a great location for a bit fancier of meals and ambiance close to Stanford Campus. The staff was all amazing and very friendly and the courses were very very tasty. Our server was very knowledgeable about each dish and the many questions we asked about where things were from, what was in different dishes, or recommendations to try. I'd be interested to try a sampler plate if they ever create one as there were many different options on the menu that seemed interesting to try. I do not normally give out a five star review, but the staff and food were amazing and deserved all five stars. If I were to look for an area of constructive feedback, the menu was confusing in use of periods versus commas, but did not detract heavily from the overall experience.
Very enjoyable experience in a civilized environment. Menlo Tavern delivers well executed classic dishes using high quality ingredients. We enjoyed a delightful Sunday brunch with members of our group sharing tastes. The hit of the day was the lobster Benedict with two perfectly poached eggs perched atop lobster chunks bathed in a dollop of smoked Hollandaise sauce. The huckleberry pancakes also got rave reviews. Service was prompt and professional and the room was quiet and comfortable. The outside patio area provided a nice diversion for the youngsters in our group to burn off energy without impacting us or other diners.
I'll start off with ... I seldom write reviews ... but I visited Menlo Tavern on Sat night with a few friends and it was such a treat. I felt like I was transported on vacation which is so needed in these (unprecedented) times. The Menlo Tavern / bar was beautiful - cozy, inviting, fire in the fireplace and large welcoming fire pit to sit around outside. The bartender and wait staff were so personable and attentive. The bartender helped think through the toughest of decisions ... what cocktail to order! He talked through ingredients and proceeded to make one of the best margaritas I've ever had. The appetizers were delicious - we had the flatbread with truffle, crispy fries and crab cakes to name a few. And we were in good company ... we couldn't help but notice Jerry Rice amongst the patrons. He has good taste! Stop by the Menlo Tavern if you're feeling in need of a little escape. I didn't want to leave!
Fantastic food, service and ambiance on the terrace with live music. I highly recommend the Tavern Burger, although all the appetizers, entrees and dessert we ordered at our table were great. The service was a particular standout as the waitstaff was kind, attentive and swift in serving both drinks and food. Fantastic experience and we look forward to coming back soon!
Discovered a hidden gem in Menlo Park. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Great food, delicious cocktails and great music. What more can you ask for?! I cant wait to go back again and again.
The food concepts were really good and the portions were quite large, but some of the execution could be improved. Will definitely give them another go to see if it was just because we were there for early dinner.
