Today was a difficult day, I dropped off my fur baby (khloe mae) and had to leave her. This is the first time she has ever not been with me. I hope and pray she gets better and I can bring my baby home real soon. On a more positive note, Dr. Mitchener whom we met with and from the moment she began speaking, I felt a calmness come over me, which told me my baby was in the right place and in the greatest care of the best Doctor and wonderful staff. Thank you so much for the love, support and care you are giving, not only to Khloe, but all the orher fur babies in your care. Thank you, GOD Bless and looking forward to seeing you soon.

Can't say enough great things about our experience at Bluff City with Dr. Archer. He listened, explained and executed a plan of action quickly then explained and answered all my questions very thoroughly multiple times. Our diagnosis includes one with lots of trial and error. I feel super lucky to have been referred here and couldn't ask for a better IMS to help Remi than Dr. Archer!

My fur baby was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a highly aggressive bone cancer. We were referred to this place by her regular vet and boy, we are glad they did. Dr. Fisher was very professional and at the same time very personable. He did all the necessary tests and explained to us what was going on in a very straightforward way and explained the urgency for the aggressive treatment. And not just Dr. Fisher, the entire staff was very friendly and courteous but at the same time very professional. They took care of our fur baby just like their own and provided regular updates while she was under their care. They also answered any and all questions we had and continue to have to our satisfaction. The facility is also maintained really well and the examination rooms don't smell like other dogs and cats. This place also has one and only Oncologist in the Memphis area which is a plus so we didn't have to go searching for an oncologist to give chemotherapy. Dr. Michener is also very nice with exceptional knowledge of the subject matter. She also answered all of our questions and also explained about newer treatment options available. Overall, our experience with this practice so far has been phenomenal and I can recommend this facility to anyone.

I’d like to take a second to brag on Dr. Kathy Mitchener. The past few weeks have been undoubtedly stressful, as we found five lumps on Remy and one recently on Shadow. We had been watching a few of Remy’s spots for a while, but made the decision last week that we wanted to get a second opinion, especially after now finding a lump on Shadow. Dr. Kathy took time with us this morning to go over options, preventative treatments for cancer, discussed a combination of holistic and modern approaches to facing tumors, and just really made us feel seen, especially as I walked into their office this morning in tears because I was so worried. 6 biopsies later, we are so thankful that the “lumps” came back as benign lipomas. We are now working with Dr. Mitchener on other preventatives, early screening, and a home-cooked diet. If your pet has cancer or suspect something might not be 100% right, please run, don’t walk, to see Dr. Kathy!
