Ate here for the first time.
Service was quick and we seated. Parking is small but the resturant size correlates to that. The building also has a roof top but it was sadly raining.
They offer a good range of pizza but I'm a meat eater so I decided to build my own 12 in pizza. It was really tasty. If I had to describe it, I would say it's an upgraded pizza hut on taste alone. 😋
Overall, nice place to go with friends (work or personal) for some good pie.
Had never been here before so we decided to try it out. We did not eat the pizza so I cannot attest that. We had the Cuban. We also had their spinach salad, also not shown here where the stuff poblano peppers. Everything was great, we sat on the rooftop. The service was good. I would definitely try it again.
Aldo's is a local favorite, and as a former Memphian I was interested in trying it.
It's a nondescript building in the famed Cooper-Young district. The pizza was pretty good, with a great crust and a thick layer of chewy cheese. It's tasty enough, and a filling choice if you're searching for pizza. We ate there on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. The cardinal sin for me is for servers and employees to show indifference to customers. While I'm willing to believe they could have had an off day, it's increasingly the norm to behave as if customer service is a low priority. That was the case today. There was a seemingly long gap between being seated and being served. Plenty of service people, including our waitress, in plain view not giving any urgency to taking care of us once we were given a table. That says to me that either the employees don't care about me or they don't care about their product. There is an automatic 20% gratuity for all dine-in orders, so I don't see a lot of trust on the part of this business for customers to reward good service and good food. I'd love to feel more respected since there are a lot of other choices for dining in this neighborhood. Maybe returning at a different time or with a different crew would result in a more enjoyable experience. Overall it wasn't terrible, it was just meh.
A buddy told me about this place,so I stopped by. Grabbed a slice, and took it home so my wife and I could try it.Wife likes the flavor, and heating my piece in the airfryer so I will give my review in a little bit.
Ok I'm ready.
It was VERY GOOD. SO good,we came back and got the whole pizza!!
My second time here, and I wonder why I don't visit more! I love the pizza here!! The thin crispy crust, loaded with toppings and amazing sauce, makes me smile with every bite!!! I ordered the meat pizza and added some other toppings. It didn't last long.
Fantastic pizza and paninis. I thoroughly enjoyed my Figgy Piggy. I had a slice of my friend’s pepperoni pizza and it was so large and tasty. The garlic knots with cheese and vodka sauce can’t be beat!
Amazing experience at Aldi's pizza pies!!
The pizza was absolute perfection especially the crust thin but soft the sauce to toppings ratio was 10/10
Plus we just so happened to go there while they were just starting a trivia night it was so fun!
Definitely recommend as a great family excursion! Kid friendly and such a chill atmosphere!
The best pizza I had in a long time. It teased just like home (NYC) The cheesecake was next level taste amazing got to try it
I have had most of their pies and most of them are worth it. Last visit had the Willie, Cheech and Bob and Garlic Knots and we finished the whole pie in minutes.
Delicious thin crust pizza and very fresh salad with yummy crispy garlicky croutons. I must say, Excellent service. Being from California I was craving a good salad and specially tomatoes so I asked for one extra slice of tomato. The lady was so sweet and generous she brought me more than six slices of tomatoes. I was in heaven!!
They have an upstairs/rooftop outdoor dining area as well. Nice atmosphere, cool decorations, and nice location. Thanks so much for the great food experience and for taking care of us so well. I highly recommend this place.
