Al’s Tasty Burger

Small operation but I enjoyed the bbq I ate and the working guys next to me spoke well of the cheeseburgers. Really should have been in the Memphis Flyers Top 5 Hole in the Wall bbq joints. Spoke to the operator owner and he stated he’d been there 26 years and the bbq tasted like he had the experience. Sadly he also said, he has sold the business and would be moving on in life to a non food related venture. Enjoy while you can.

We stopped here after a trip to the Memphis Zoo. The sweet lady working the counter was so kind and the gentleman running the griddle was nice too! We all enjoyed our visit. I have no complaints!! My husband had the cheeseburger plate — he said it was good and our 3 teens had the bbq pulled pork — no complaints- I have no complaints on my bbq plate either! Worth the stop! Mom and Pop hole in the wall place in Memphis. Also only about a mile away from Graceland mansion.

I'm pregnant and while I am trying to stick with fresh fruits and steamed veggies most of the time, sometimes baby just wants a great burger with some yummy fries! This place and the owners are amazing! They serve delicious plate lunches, delectable breakfasts, mouthwatering BBQ, and the best made to order burgers I've had in a long time! Now that I'm pregnant, I'm more picky about which restaurants I'll go to. Tastee Bar-B-Q Is my go to place for Amazing Food, Great Service, Fun Conversations, all with a clean and calm atmosphere! They are very reasonably priced, especially since they actually serve you an amount of food that will not only satisfy your hunger, but you may even have to take some home or even share with a loved one. Go check them out, You'll not regret it! Tastee may just be your new favorite place to go eat breakfast, lunch, and brunch!

I came to Tastee's for breakfast, so I can't really speak on the lunch menu. However, the staff were great. I spoke to the owner who said that his family has run the restaurant since '68, which was nice to hear because I like to support small/family businesses. The menu has a big variety of food, and I particularly liked how the prices on it both included tax and didn't require change. I got an omlette, which comes with hashbrowns and toast or a roll for just $7 even. It was delicious too, and all made to order. The reason I took a star off was because while the tables were fine, the place was pretty dirty. I also saw a small roach in the bathroom. Other than that, I'd still stop by again.

Family owned, delicious, southern experience. Friendly staff, excellent value, home cooking. I wanted a home made breakfast and Tastee delivered! Eggs done medium, potatoes properly cooked, couple of pancakes. Yummy! Don't even think of another place to eat, just go directly here. I can't wait to come back and taste the marquee item: the Bar-B-Q!
