Rafferty's Restaurant - Poplar Ave

Always loved going to Rafferty's and still do, but it's not what it use to be. Not saying it's bad just now a average restaurant. This is a good 1st date or a good place to take someone for a bite to eat. You will get full and enjoy your food, just not going to say "I gotta come back tomorrow". It's not a bad place just a simple restaurant with a simple menu. I got the Chicken Alfredo which was good but simple. The crossiants are good as usual and soft when you bite into them. Service is great and food comes out in a timely manner besides being short staffed. Rafferty's is a place you visit if you got invited to a bday party or you live close by. It's not something I see myself saying drive across town to eat at Rafferty's.

One of my favorite places in Memphis. The potato soup is always my starter, so delicious. My entree is normally the chicken finger salad with house dressing but I’m also very fond of the grilled salmon, hot finger platter, & ribeye. The salad is always so crisp and flavorful. The hot bacon dressing is one of a kind, they really need to bottle it up and sell it…mixed with the honey mustard, so amazing! You will not be disappointed.

Right now service is exceptional! We only had to wait at most 10 minutes to be seated. Social distance was definitely being utilized to the fullest extent. Our waitress was Reginae. She was great! We ordered our food and it came out pretty fast! Even before the pandemic I've always left satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food and service provided.

I was seated quickly. Social distancing is definitely a thing at this restaurant. I felt safe with my family. My server was awesome! She took drink and food orders at the same time and we received our orders rather quickly. The food was delicious! We ordered two chicken tender kids meals, hot chicken finger platter and a kona chicken entree. I noticed the entire wait staff was very efficient throughout the restaurant. I go to this restaurant at least twice a month. 5 stars!!

The food was absolutely amazing! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of the customer service. Our waitress was EXTREMELY slow about coming to check on us, and refilling our drinks. She was a young adult and her cellphone rang while she was taking my order....I gave her a pass for that, but the food was hot, fresh and delicious!!
