Cocina Mexicana Bar & Grill MILLBRANCH is in an industrial area. There's nothing in the area but plants and 3 low-budget hotels. The location is perfect for all the local working people in the area, especially since it's the only restaurant.

Again, the food was delicious. I would suggest go before 4pm. Do not have any expectations, just eat and good.. if you don't mind feeling unsettled while eating go and give night time a chance.
Great food, service, prices & Rita's. I'm usually not a Mexican restaurant Rita drinker but all the reviews had me wanting ro try theirs. Bogo $10 reg lime Rita's were on point. They have a kick to them so watch it!
Service was great, I went with 2 older folks & they tried to seat us in a booth but the guy immediately noticed it wouldn't work so he turned us to the left & had us in a table immediately. The chips were just right, not too thin or salty. Salsa was per usual but still good.

1st time going here in Memphis heard good things about this place and I'm happy to say they were all good except 1 it was cold as ice the a/c would most welcomed in the summer as relentless as it were. Anyways food was very delicious they even had happy hour and Daily meal specials my waitress was very attentive and helpful I had the tastiest chicken and beef hard Tacos and a Ciroc Obama YUMMM. the portions were large and fair priced I also had a gigantic stuffed burrito I didn't know it was gonna be that big still YUMMM! I also had beef queso which tasted more like beans little meat and cheese but nonetheless tasty this is the first place were the table salsa that comes with the chips was authentic and flavorful thick and spicy they got that perfect! I going back tonight...I might do the patio tonight seems like it was a party out there every night......2nd night not so good til.i got.my.original waitress back took 45 minutes to get chips and a drink and they were less busy than 1st night and it was a weekend
The food was great, but the tip is built into the bill after 4:00 pm? I don’t have a problem being obligated to tip, but a 15% is built in. Not only does this hurt GOOD servers not get what they deserve, because folks won’t tip extra, it gets bad servers an obligated tip for bad service.
Do better. Pay your service staff a livable wage, or let me tip what I think they deserve.
Absolutely great mexican food, the wife and I really enjoyed it she had the chicken enchiladas and I had the Fiesta cocina flautas (giant burrito) and it was well worth every penny. Our waitress was friendly and prompt, our food came out pretty fast. Absolutely amazing environment nice music club section was pretty lit,and the tvs playing sports was the best touch 10/10 recommended
This place has a smaller parking lot. But its worth it. The food is fantastic and reasonable great drink specials. The place can get pretty packed because its the spot to be. P.s. do not bring weapons of any kinda this should be a safe place for everyone. They reserve the right to a search and have a metal detector for safty purposes. I love this spot.

I used to go eat here a lot. THE FOOD IS BUSSIN!!! It has gotten a bit worse overtime in terms of cleanliness. Food was 10/10 but has recently tasted too greasy and lacked some flavor in the burritos. Waiters and waitresses are very nice but can be very busy attending other customers so they hardly come to attend. Food comes out hot and their horchata is great! My favorite dish is La Cocina Especial. Try their fajitas if it is your first time going. Very good. Don’t go in the weekends as it can be super loud, packed, and even dangerous (there was a gunshot the other day).
This is a modest Mexican restaurant with a large menu, but only a few vegetarian options. But what vegetarian options they did have were great!
Friendly service figures highly into my rating. Convenient to nearby hotels, and the only place to eat on that portion of Millbranch.
I’m glad I came when I did the nachos are bomb and they served me pretty fast. I looked at some of the reviews some were good some were bad but in the end I’m glad I came. Also this was my first time I’m Memphis and this pineapple water was so good………….
The atmosphere is somewhat not of my pleasure, I won’t say at night is very family friendly.
The food is amazing and the service I love it.
