Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend exploring the wooded camp area and creeks that flow through the camp. Facilities are very clean and we had access to everything we needed for a fun filled weekend.

Food was ok. Ordered a steak. Ate my sides while they tried to figure out who ordered the steak lol. By the time they figured it out. I was full from eating my sides. The waitress was real sweet. The 5 stars are for her.

I had a GrubHub order & my app said my order was ready for pickup. I got there & was told that the Server had to put my order together. Well, the Server came up to myself & another customer & asked what we were there for. We told her that the other Servers told us to wait, because they couldn't find our orders. She came right up & said our orders were already done & she handed us our orders. She was very polite & attentive. As for the other 2 Servers, they need to take a reading class again!! Overall, we waited about 15 mins. before we got our order. The food was great, don't get me wrong. It's Servers that don't pay attention to their customers' needs that need to go back and be trained on how to service your customer. The customer may not always be right, but at least you can prove them wrong by giving them great customer service. You can turn a bad situation into a good one by listening and doing whatever you can to please your customer.

The food was great! The facility is a little dated. The service is mostly like Luby's. The server picks up the trays at your table after you sit down, and they refill your beverage or bring condiments. I'm sure their social skills can influence their gratuity.
