OMG, not only is the food (AWESOME)!!! The presentation is (AWESOME) as well. It's literally the best I've tasted other than my mom.

I ordered honey hot whole wings, fries, with a extra piece of whiting and it did not disappoint. The portions are worth the price. The wing sauce was delicious and were fried perfectly. It was a large piece of whiting fried perfectly. Now I do think the fish could’ve had a little more seasoning but I’m heavy hanging with the seasonings. All in all it’s worth the price and I’d definitely order again.

Whenever I have a craving for whole fried catfish, I always order from Southwind Fish. They have a lemon pepper fried catfish that is awesome!!! It is rightly seasoned and fried to perfection. Their sides are a tasty compliment to the fish. I usually get the fries and okra. The food smells so good that I have to put my bag on the backseat so I won't eat it before I get home. It's just that good. The place is kinda tucked away besides Lowes hardware but what a find it has turned out to be. They also have regular seasoned fish as well. In me, they have a customer for life.

Was a pleasant surprise. First time going and the food was great. Hot, crispy/flaky fish, good slaw and hushpuppies. The staff was friendly and don't forget about dessert, Red Velvet cake Yum!

My friends and I came in and we instantly felt like we were at moms or our aunts house. We received a warm welcome when we entered and the smell of good ole’ country frying/cooking consumed us. We all ordered different meals, and they were all delicious. The hospitality was truly southern and this is not a one time visit type of place. Picture below are the tenders & fries, hot wings, with a side blackened catfish. Great customer service food was very good. Owner supports my hometown Steelers and University of Memphis. Definitely worth a visit.

Southwind fish is a homestyle restaurant. It's family owned and operated and they are in my opinion the best place to get fried fish done right. It's not greasy, it's not overly seasoned and their potato salad is so good. I recommend the tilapia dinner.
