The Gallery Grille

A great getaway at the end of the day. I can't speak to the golf course, but I can heartily recommend the sports club. The bari's friendly and shares the menu with the restaurant. Food is good and if the salt level was reduced, it would be very good. Go check it out if you are looking for somewhere a little more private than a regular gym or bar. If you end up joining and enjoying, then you owe me a beer. 😁

Beautiful course set in the Arizona Desert. Not long but a challenge because if u miss the fairway your ball is in the desert with multiple kinds of cacti, snakes and other animals. Wouldn't walk around in there too much. Other animals seen here were rabbits, jack rabbits, lizards, deer, coyotes, javalina, and linx. Heard a story about a mountain lion but didn't see one. The COURSE was 5 stars. Green and in great shape considering there's not much water there and it was 108 degrees all while we were there. The service, unfortunately, was 2.5 stars. Not enough staff and the staff that was there didn't do anything. We had to load the carts with our bags, ice and drinks ourselves. And even though the course wasn't busy, we didn't see the cart attendant much. Would definitely play here again but not expecting great service.

The fitness center has limited hours and not open on Sunday. It's difficult to reach anyone in the fitness center. The locker rooms are not open and there are no towels provided for swimmers. Now the pool is shut down for a month.The pickleball courts are great but hard to find people to play with-no tennis/PB director. The food is borderline inedible. They had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas-it looked like nursing home food. I had an Italian dish with meatballs that tasted like they were frozen. There's no effort that I see in the last 2 years to improve the menu. It has a beautiful vista though.

Had another couple with us. Stopped in to look at properties and visited the bar and grill. Very helpful lady gave us a guided tour around the clubhouse areas and answered lots of questions. Very nice community. Came back later and enjoyed a wonderful dinner as we stayed at Ritz Carleton but chose to dine at The Gallery. Definitely a place to enjoy life, food, drinks, friends. Will be back!
