Vero Amore

I come here pretty frequently and usually pretty happy. The only reason I'm posting a review today is because I think they can improve a little bit on their consistency. I ordered a takeout calzone, which is always amazing. Today is no exception. But I also ordered the bruschetta today and I probably should have checked it before I left the restaurant. I'm not sure what this is that they gave me but it was cold greasy bread with cheese. Picture attached. Unfortunately I've had similar experiences with their take out. Again, amazing calzones and pizza and I will continue to go back.

Usually very happy but tonight we had a combined pizza and wing order (with Tucson Wings) and we were told 30 minutes to pickup. It took 45 minutes and living less than 5 minutes from the location, the pizza was stone cold when we got home. Think they need some help coordinating those orders to go if they are a "combined" establishment. Food was great except for the temp.

We were very excited to try this place, and it was honestly, very mediocre at best. The salad was warmish and droopy. The soda was maybe warm and poured from a can. The pizza was okay, soggy and just fine. And the wood fired cookie tasted like it was missing salt? I actually tried shaking a little salt on it and it did help a little to pull the flavors. We didn't finish it. I really wanted to like it, but we left just feeling, a little sad

We moved here last August and have been so glad to find this little gem. Every time we go we try something new. The pizzas are fantastic. The soup of the day is usually very special. I wish they would put the mushroom and onion or steak soup on the menu. Both were absolutely delicious. The bread is fantastic. We will continue to come back. Wish you would put out an email of what the soup of the day and pasta of the day are. I'd make a special trip for some of those again. Try it, you'll love it.
