Cracker Barrel

It was absolutely great. Good was fantastic, service was wonderful, I loved the little gift shop inside which had so many wonderful things to choose from. Was a little pricy but well worth it. Everybody was on point. Server was constantly checking on us refilling drinks, checking to see if we want dessert, making sure our food was satisfactory, and just simply checking in our comfort. They really know what they're doing.

What happened to Cracker Barrel? Used to be a great place to get chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy, not anymore! The gravy is bland, the biscuits are dry and the cornbread lost it's sweetness. Such a shame. Also ordered broccoli, but came cold on a hot plate. Tasted like it was straight out of the fridge. Asked for hot broccoli and got a bowl of hot broccoli but it had other things in it like onions and tomato. Maybe clean of the serving spoon or not use one serving spoon for multiple items. 🤷

We were able to be quickly seated. Our server was nice. There was a wait and though our server was trying hard, we were a bit neglected due to the number of tables she was waiting on. Likely they are short staffed here. My grits, which was a side dish with my fried catfish, came out cold and I had to send them back. It was so cold there was no way I would have been able to have butter melt into the grits, and trust me, the plain grits here NEED lots of butter, salt and pepper! The broccoli was cold too but okay with some salt. The next side dish of grits came out cold again! Even after asking for the grits to be piping hot! 😂 So I gave up and asked for steak fries. They were delicious!

Been going here for years, most recently on Thanksgiving morning and it was great like always! Food A+, Atmosphere A+, and service A+. Deana was our server and she was on top of things. We really appreciate businesses like this open on the holiday. I believe they are only closed on Christmas. If you haven't been to their store your in for a treat!

Stopped in on weekend since I haven't had it for a while. Granted it was busy had a 15 min wait for a table. Was sat and waitress got our drinks pretty quickly. After we ordered, that's when things started going down hill. People came and went before our order came out. Also people who were sat after us got their full meals come out before ours. We sat for over 40 min for our food. Tried to find our waitress to check on things but she never came back around. Once food came out it was kinda cold, was missing things we ordered so we had already lost our appetite. Had to ask another waitress to get ours so I could have the extra items I ordered taken off the bill and boxes to box the food up. From time we got there till we left was just 5 min shy of 2 hours. That should of never happened for a party of 2 with no special food order. Will NOT be back to this location you'll go hungry before you get served food.

If this place was any example, Cracker Barrel sure has changed for what it used to be! The food tasted OK, but the portions were meager at best. I ordered 3 eggs and sausage and the eggs were The smallest I've ever seen. In the 2 overcooked sausage patties were like chewing on leather. The service wasn't that great either we weren't even brought utensils, we had to ask for them. I will not go back there.

This is by far one of the worst Cracker Barrel I've ever been to. It started with the horrible customer service with the girl that took my order to the rude manager that brought out my food. She showed nothing but annoyance for having to do her job. I ordered the fried Chicken which is usually delicious but not this time. It was 90% hard dried out batter with about 10% dried out chicken on the inside. It seems it was sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Not fresh. The hash brown casserole was equally disgusting. Dried out hard and room temperature! I will never go back to this location and I'll make sure I tell my friends. It's not the first time I've had horrible food and service here but it will be my last.
