Sea-lect Seafood

Ordered 2 fish stick dinners. Wen we got the order home we saw we saw it was the wrong order. We called and they said bring them back n they would make us a new order. We were already due a refund since the order they charged us for was 3 times our original order. They gave him the new order and refunded the difference but never apologized or offered a discount for next time etc. However, the worst part was the fish was terrible. It was old. As soon as I opened the container it smelled like amonia. It was disgusting . I bit into just to make sure and the taste was amonia as well. We didn't think yet another trip back there would be worth it. But sadly will not go buy there again. Seafood during lent should sell so fast it doesn't have time to sit and go bad.

Ordered two Fried Combination Platers. Good - Deviled Crab Cake, Deviled Clam Cake, Fish Cake, Shrimp, and Stewed Tomatoes. House salad was fresh. Large quantity of food. Not so good - Fish Sticks (I think that's what they were), Scallops had a "bleachy" taste, French Fries were greasey and tasted like they were cooked in the fish fryer. Maybe just an off day as this place seems to have very good ratings. I'll have to try again and hopefully be able to give a higher rating. Update 5/4/22. From 3 to 5 stars. Checks all the boxes - Quality, Quantity and Price! Ordered the fried flounder sandwich and some spicy Crab soup for lunch. WOW...what a sandwich! I wish I had taken a pic of it before I ate it. It was a HUGE piece of flounder which made the bun look tiny and fried perfectly. Should have ditched the bun as I am stuffed now. It came with a perfect amount of fries and slaw which were both very good. The fries were not greasy and the slaw wasn't swimming in mayo. The spicy Crab soup was quite spicy, but very good! I will be going back!

My only trusted seafood place in South Jersey -(for both freshness and quality) - only place I can find truly "wild caught" shrimp in the whole Delaware Valley - I buy the salmon lunch for my mother a few times a month - she has dietary issues and they kindly make her salmon with no butter or spice expertly cooked - always a good choice of seasonal fresh vegetables - I love the crab cakes, shrimp, and haddock, and this place is never short on personality -

Got 2 lunch specials, soup and cooked shrimp. The sides were so good, no soggy french fries. My beer battered haddock sandwich was huge. Everything tasted great and was a good price point. The woman at the counter was really helpful and kind. I wish I knew about this place sooner. This will be my go to for seafood.
