P.J. Whelihan's Pub +Restaurant is one of the few locations in Burlington County that currently offers outdoor dining. A reservation is not required. They blocked off one entrance so all traffic filters into a large parking area. This allows for the outdoor dining not only in the front of the building but along the side. While the front dining is more shaded, seating along the side is picnic like, spaced apart with umbrellas. You'll need to walk down the steps in order to be seated. We arrived at 12:30 and they were already busy. We didn't wait long, no more than 10 minutes. You're provided with a paper menu but if you want to save your server time you can view the menu online before going. I ordered their lemonade which I don't usually like unless it's pink. It was really good, not overly sweet like most. The crispy part of the Buffalo Brussels sprouts was phenomenal and only made better when dipped in the buffalo ranch sauce. Due to the large size of some of the brussels sprouts I found the inside of some slightly chewy. As a vegetarian I ordered a grilled cheese with tomato. You get your choice of wheat, white, or rye. It was really tasty. I know they're known for wings but I wish they had more vegetarian options on the menu. The other party at my table ordered a cheeseburger with tator tots. They said it was a really good cheeseburger. If you want condiments you need to ask for them. As busy as they were service was exceptional and they don't make you feel rushed. Try and tip more than 20% if you can and get there early if you're not willing to wait. There was a really long wait when we left.

Absolutely horrible! The food was bad and the service was even worse! Our server Gwen messed my food up not once but twice!! I had ordered the BROILED crab cakes and first she brought me out some sandwich. Then told me a remake would take 5 minutes and I told her to make it to go. It was then brought out for here and told them I wanted it to go bc everyone else was done eating. When I got home to open the box so I could FINALLY eat she had put in for FRIED crab cakes and I can’t eat fried food. Never again!

I tried this spot in the past with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I loved the awesome vibes and flavorful food and drinks. Keep up the good work.

Food was good. They really heard my special order and took it seriously. No surprises. Thier attention to that order made it possible for me to eat what I ordered and enjoy it. Thank you P.j.'S

Ordered Large crab cake dinner. Had 2 crab cakes maybe the size of a half dollar and a small amount of fries. $18.99.Do not order Kids Mac & cheese $6.50 + tax for kraft Mac and cheese in a small container. Are you kidding me. Food quality and portions are a joke.

Fast service and reasonably priced drinks. On a Saturday night at 9, the place was crowded, but we were still able to get a table right away. They have many tvs that can be seen at all angles that are playing all of the games. 4 stars for the food. The buff chicken dip was good, but the chicken pieces were too large for a dip. The loaded tots were delicious and will order them again.

I’ve been going to PJs since 2004 (used to be a great pub) and it has gone down hill. Over the past few years whenever my wife and I visit PJs we want it to be good and always leave feeling dissatisfied and disappointed. The last time we visited PJs Maple Shade the service was non existent and the food came out cold. I wish PJs had the same standards as it did many years ago.

The wait for drinks and food was outrageous and when we finally did get our food it was cold. It used to be one of my favorite places to go but just not the same the last few times. Also no more Buffalo Shrimp which is highly disappointing.
