El Toro Mexican Restaurant

Tried for the first time tonight with my 11 year old daughter and husband. My daughter ordered a #25 and didn't seem to one it too much but said the rice was dry and had a weird flavor. My husband had a burrito Loco and was underwhelmed by the look of if but said it was ok he also complained about the rice. I was the really unlucky one. I ordered a fajita taco salad minus the shell and cheese. I asked for it on a bed of rice instead like a regular salad. It came out with a bed of beans, fajita meat and veggies, a small amount of lettuce and, some tomatoes. I tried 1 bite and sent it back. It was full of grease! I even turned the plate and watched the grease gather on the side. I sent it back with the waiter who offered no resolve. A few minutes later our waiter came out with an older woman who rudely asked me "what was wrong with the food?" I let her know it was really greasy and she walked away with no resolve either. This is not customer service and I won't be back for the nasty food or the attitude filled wait staff.

I love this place. No place makes this gringo cry with joy quite like El Toro. If you're like me and you love spicy food, try to Chili Colorado. The less adventurous will enjoy the Burrito Loco and the Fajita Quesadilla, always a favorite of those strange people who don't like tears streaming down their face while eating. Protip, get the queso with the chips.
