Thank you, for a lovely luncheon. Looking for a light lunch. We share our lunch. We ordered Shrimp soft Taco, Broiled, Taco Scallop soft Taco, Blackened. with Sweet Potato Fries.. Everything was just Delicious . So, glad a dear friend told us about the Clam Castle. Your Menu prices are so Reasonable. They have Picnic tables at the parking a lot. So Friendly Everybody just enjoying the meals. This was our 4th time and planning coming back soon. Again for a Great Meal

This is one of our favorite places....they never disappoint! Usually I get a fried shrimp platter but opted for the shrimp tacos, broiled. I wasn't sure if I'd like them...but they were amazing and was very happy with my choice. My husband got the Cod sandwich and it was dellishish....and as always the hot dogs were a hit with our kids!

My wife and I stumbled onto Clam Castle as we were in search of decent seafood here in this small Connecticut town. It was so good we returned the next day. There is a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. We loved the lobster rolls and blackened seafood platter.

Not sure what the great reviews are going on about. Nothing was particularly awful but nothing was great either. Staff weren't rude but they certainly weren't friendly, mostly they ignored us. Food wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't amazing. My blackened scallops were drowned in what tasted like Red Robin burger seasoning (you know the one), which wasn't... bad, exactly, but wasn't very enjoyable. I will say it was a decent amount of food for the advertised price. However, I will also say that I was not charged the advertised price. It's one thing that the chalkboard, paper, and online menus all don't match-- the world is on fire, things are complicated-- but it's another thing when you're intentionally overcharged. I got the $25-ish scallops, my friend got the $30-ish lobster roll, and we each got a lemonade; somehow I paid $75+ for lunch. Those must be some very expensive fountain drinks. The little dining spaces inside and outside are pretty cute, but the whole building rattles every time someone slams a door and the too-loud radio plays only the most objectifying of oldies songs, nonstop of course. We typically go to Lenny and Joe's across the street, and we'll definitely return to that going forward.

It's a great place if your looking for laid-back dining. Prices are not too bad. Food was good. Portions are big. Husband and I shared a combo platter and took enough home for another meal.

enjoyed lunch here today! Fish tacos were amazing. My husbands clam chowder was delicious chunks and chunks of clam. Creamy and hot. Wait wait literally not even 5 mins. Yum!

Best clams ever. Dad and I went there for dads day/ My dad lives near westfarms mall in west Hartford. We are going back during the week when it is not as crowded. The owner is wonderful. He goes around to the tables
to make sure everyone happy!!!!!
