Very nice restaurant, waitress knew menu very well and explained preparation and ingredients. House special lobster was OK, sauce overpowered and risotto blan. Osso buco was very good ( risotto blan). Flounder w/ crab was also very good. Portions were good but costly.

Decided on a Tuesday night to try out this restaurant that we drive by everyday. WOW!! Outstanding old-school Italian cuisine. Shrimp and clams (casino & oreganata) appetizer was one of the best I have ever had. Pasta was clearly homemade and perfectly al-dente - sauces were excellent! Wine list is very high quality with modest mark-ups. Dessert - especially the chocolate mousse cake - was also outstanding. L'Allegria is absolutely going to be a regular visit for us now!

Went here after my sister’s wedding. What a wonderful treat. We had a fairly set menu - appetizer, salad, and dessert was set, we had a choice between several options for the main course. I had the filet and it was cooked well and seasoned really well. The appetizer was a prosciutto and melon salad on arugula. It was delicious. We had a separate salad served as well. And the drinks were delicious - I had an espresso martini.

We had an awesome experience! Food was so delicious! Our server, Alana, was friendly, funny, attentive, knowledgeable, and an all-around pleasure who made us want to come back very soon! Most of us tried the specials. My sea bass was so tender, tasty, and perfectly cooked! Can't wait to eat here again. 3 👍 up!! Highly recommend!

We were with a large group, had a poor experience at another restaurant nearby, and decided on a whim to leave and try L’Allegria instead. They completely turned our night around! Everyone that worked there was so kind and attentive, especially our wonderful waitress Alana. The food was all absolutely delicious. We’re so happy we ended up trying L’Allegria- it was meant to be!

I threw a surprise birthday party for my mother in their private room for 15 people. Everything went as planned, thanks to the wonderful owner. The food was fabulous, (they even accommodated, my vegan sister-in-law), the service was outstanding, and because of the long table, it was like sitting in my mothers dining room, which she loves. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the experience was.

Good and mostly authentic southern Italian restaurant. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy. Nice old style ambiance, vado manu with dishes unusual in the US (scialatielli, friarielli, fusilli fatti in casa). Many fish and meat options. Overall a very good experience for a Native American like me. Plenty of appetizers (good calamari and crocchè di patate). Parking available in the back. Good wine list.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant! It’s very spacious for large groups and also has a great atmosphere for a romantic date. They don’t have high chairs for small babies but managed to accommodate our little one. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. It’s now one of my favorites!
