Soulshine Pizza Factory

Got takeout after a long week of work. Always check your order before leaving. No matter how great a place is mistakes happen. For me the cook misunderstood my order. But in just a few mins my pizza was remade correctly. I also recommend the spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs are great, and the sauce is good. Comes with breadsticks.

My very first visit here was a great experience! The scenery was nice as my family and I chose to sit outside. My waiter was great! The food good. My kids both enjoyed the spaghetti and meatball. My sis enjoyed the healthy self made pizza and I enjoyed the pulled pork nachos accompanied with a cold refreshed Hunch Punch.

This place is magical. I have always loved visiting Soulshine for the crawfish bread. I along with my 2 young sons are visiting MS and I thought it would be fun to take them here for pizza since it used to be one of my favorites when I lived here. When we walked through the the door we were greeted and seated by the sweetest girls. After getting our food, my 4 year old accidentally shook salt all over his pizza instead of Parmesan cheese. The manager who happened to be walking around just as this happened came to ask if we were having a good experience. I told her that he dumped salt all over it and within 10 minutes he had a brand new hot pizza. The food and cocktails were delicious as usual but my kids suggested that I give this place one million stars…we’ll be back real soon.

This was my first time back at Soulshine Pizza in quite some time as I had not been there for many years. On my return I was not impressed, as we were seated and it took 20 mins or more for a waiter to acknowledge our presents and that was after flagging him down. Our waiter who appeared to be a manager would dissappear for long periods of time and I would have to flag down another waitress to take care of us. BTW the young waitresses were fantastic and had nothing to do with our bad experience. Along side poor service from our waiter, I also thought the pizza was underwhelming as the sauce on the pepperoni pizza was to much and also just tasted like spaghetti sauce. We also ordered their Buffalo Chicken Pizza which was better because it was not flooded in sauce. I'd be willing to give it another shot and it might have just been an off night, but as of now it would probably be the last pizza joint I'd visit.

The host embarrassed me and my date, she was loud and telling us what we can and can’t do I was so confused as to why would she do that instead of coming closer to us and letting us know, my visit was unpleasant, not to mention ruined the date. My date wanted to leave but since we had no back up plan for that happening we stayed and the whole time it was a little uncomfortable. The server was ok and constantly checked in but since we wasn’t really feeling the place became a little annoyed the soup that was ordered would have been great had I not lost my appetite.
