Uno Pizzeria & Grill

Took my jazz band here for dinner while we were in Sun Prairie for a jazz festival. They were very gracious in setting up a room(I called a week ahead) service was efficient and the server was very nice and handled the large group with ease. Thank you so much UNO, the food was amazing and we had a great time

Got door dash. I expect some lowering of freshness on delivery but this food had NO seasonings. I had to add salt, pepper and lemon juice to make it editable. Pasta in a sauce sent for delivery should have enough sauce to have at least a bit extra in the bowl this had none and was dry. The broccoli was in large chunks and undercooked. This is food 101. No one is tasting this food or doing quality checks. No chefs in this kitchen, or management for that matter.

Many ..many years ago I visited pizzeria UNO in Chicago, it was the best deep dish pizza I ever had, today I visited this branch in Wisconsin...little did I know that they would fall way below of that experience. The pizza crust was overcooked while the middle dough was undercooked and the cheese not all melted. It was a huge let down. The pizza skins are not that great either, they tasted like raw dough, maybe better served with gravy than sour cream. Maybe some day I'll get to taste another great deep dish pizza.... But doubt it will be at this location ever again. Service however was on point and so it was the mix drinks, their pizza sucked.🤷‍♂️

We called ahead with a group (3 times) and it seemed as if everything was perfectly fine but when we arrived it was another story. The place was not busy at all, and we needed to wait 20 min to sit in a section that was completely empty besides us. The whole restaurant had maybe 7 tables seated. I would understand if they moved tables together or something but they didn't. Had they seated the group as they arrived they probably would have got a few appetizers but by the time we where seated all we ordered was Pizza and drinks to get the kids fed and get out of there as quickly as possible. The hostess basically tried talking the group out of meeting there even though we explained we called in advance and let them know we where traveling with kids hours before and was told that was fine just give them a 30 min notice (we gave them an hour notice so we would be able to get seated right away). The manager didn't even look to happy to have us there either. That being said the waitress and food was phenomenal. The waitress was quick to get our drinks and was very pleasant I asked if it was a busy day and she said it was a long one and she had been there all day but was happy to have us. I hope she dont have to share tips with the others because she litterally saved our experence and earned the 2 stars and the food earned one star... the hostess and manager bad attitude and unfriendly approach loss them 2 stars on an otherwise I hope the other staff members see that and learn to be nice even if its a long day.
