Another Broken Egg Cafe

In one word DELICIOUS!!! Make sure you try their bacon, I don’t know how they cook it, but it was literally the best bacon I’ve ever ate! My family were in Huntsville for a concert and decided to eat breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe and we loved it! Everything we got was very tasty and well prepared! They have several unique breakfast items and none of them disappointed. I had an omelet with chorizo, bacon, cream cheese, and chives and it was fantastic! My daughter had cinnamon bun French toast and loved it! Wife had blackberry stuff French toast and my other daughter had simple biscuit and gravy with eggs, they both loved theirs as well. Service was friendly and helpful!

I ordered from Another Broken Egg Cafe through DoorDash just this morning. I've never eaten from here before. I've avoided it because it's a little pricey for me, but I decided to treat myself to something new and went out on a limb and shelled out the money for here anyway. I ordered an Eggs Benedict and a Mixed Berry Pancake. The Eggs Benedict I didn't expect to arrive in one piece because of poached eggs, so I was surprised when it did. Until I cut into the egg, looking forward to at least a little runniness, only to be greeted by what was essentially a hard boiled yolk. The hollandaise also had so much lemon in it that it was hard to stomach. I regretted putting on as much as I did and tried to scrape it off, but it stuck around more than I'd like. I could only force myself to try to stomach 1.5 of the traditional 2 pieces of eggs benedict. The Mixed Berry Pancake was just not too great. The description on DoorDash and their website describes it as "seasonal berries with whipped cream" on a pancake. I thought until now there were no mixed berries, but all the berries that weren't strawberries were in the pancake apparently. However the pancake is a bit doughy and underdone and there was no whipped cream. I'm ok without whipped cream honestly, but the pancake is a little disappointing without that little extra something. Overall though, especially with the eggs benedict, I'm incredibly disappointed and, honestly, I wish I hadn't shelled out the money I did for this food. It all just tastes very sub-par, especially with the eggs being overcooked. If this is the standard of food I should expect from this place, I definitely won't be ordering again. **Edit: I had already submitted this review when I found an additional issue with my order. My drink had some kind of bits of black gunk in it I was unaware of until I had consumed all of it and opened the cup up. At this point I'm sickened and just hope I don't get ill since I have no idea what that stuff is.

This place is awesome if you can get in. The last 3 times I went I couldn't because the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. The food is excellent and the guy working the counter (Chris I think?) is so friendly and fast. As soon as I hit the chair he was on it! He took my order and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how fast it arrived. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I came back the following weekend and it was the same story, lightning fast service and in and out in 30 minutes. I had plans to be a regular but have not been able to get in since because they are so busy and always packed.

I was very impressed with the way I was treated and waited on even though I was eating alone. Usually if you are dining alone a place will wait on you less or overlook your needs to wait on bigger groups. Not so here. I was checked on and served with great zeal and never had to wait for anything for a long time. Thank you to my server Jeff for such great service. Now on to the food, it was so good and a great comfort to me to find many items on the menu that catered to my special food needs and others special dietary needs too. Plan to return soon with others to eat again. Oh, and don't worry there is plenty to eat on their menu to entice and satisfy anyone else too.

Food was delicious and service was great!! They serve their whole menu the entire time they are open, so brunch/lunch items do not start at a specific time. I called ahead and had us placed on the waiting list. I checked in with the hostess when we got there and we were seated about five minutes later. Another couple came in while I was waiting and asked for the waiting time for a table for two and they were told about 30 minutes. A couple walked in after them that had also called to be put on the waiting list and they were seated soon after us. I share all of this to say I would say to call in when you are on your way!! We will definitely be back.
