This is our favorite place to dine in Madison for a number of reasons. We have been coming here for a couple years now and I will refer it time and time again to anyone! I’ll start by saying that I love the outdoor appearance, solid colors and cute patio in the summer - you walk through the door and the ambiance is immediate. Cozy. Quaint. Communal. Inviting. Let’s not forget the clever pig art and offset bar area. The menu is simple in the fact that I am not paging through endless options. What they do, they do exceptionally well! We have quite literally enjoyed every single item on the menu so it’s hard to have a favorite dish but trust me- get the meatballs. The cocktail, beer and wine selection is great and the service and staff are personal. We love to come on a date night or bring friends and have a great experience. This is a place where you can sit for hours and actually have a conversation with someone while you forget the hustle outside. It’s truly a gem in the city, go check it out!
Tried 2 of the 3 selections and wasn't disappointed one bit. The prosciutto pizza had an awesome garlic oil sprinkled with parmesan cheese on the crust that was so delicious. Along with the peppers, it was so tasty. The spinach and artichoke with goat cheese pizza had a perfect blend of creaminess mixed with the acidity of the balsamic drizzled on top. The pizza crust was light and airy and I didn't feel bogged down for the rest of the day like some pizza crusts. Additionally, the pizza was NOT greasy, it was absolutely delightful. The pizza sizes were perfect for one person with leftovers or to share more than one selection with leftovers. I recommend it to all pizza lovers. I will be back for more. Thanks Dan and Bonnie!
