It's a nice place to picnic, swim, or paddle. Bathrooms are reasonably clean.

Hickory Creek Park and Marina is an awesome place to go camping, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, riding the trails. They also have a Old Time Country Cafe with excellent food. Reservations are online at Reservation.gov

Regina “gina” Hurst

Beautiful location with campground and amenities nearby. I was surprised at the Marina hours of operation: 1000-1500 makes for some short days - so bring your own snacks and gasoline if going out during the times and days they are closed! ;-)

One of the cheaper places to store your boat on the lake. Store is open until 6pm but typical higher prices on the lake but nice if you forget something. It is south of Highway 12 bridge which has a low bridge clearance with the water being high the last few years has been an issue. Most of the docks are protected from wakes.

Food was really good and the staff was very friendly. I ate the all you can eat ribs for $11.99. Really worth the money.

I went riding on my motorcycle and it was such a great place to visit. Great scenery and spots to make your BBQ admiring it. I'll definitely go back there soon.
