This was our first visit to The Hall. It was good. Better than ok, but not great. The service was great...quick seating, fast order, and pretty quick on getting the food out to us. The food was just ok though. I got the chicken schnitzel with fries. He got a brat. We also ordered an appetizer of potato cakes. They came out at the same time as our main course. I'd say they were the best part of my meal. My schnitzel was a little over cooked and the fries were pretty generic.
Must Stop...... Hidden Treasure....... Great German themed food, modern decor huge waiting and sitting area. Games, shuffle board, three bars and plenty of seating,,,, this is a great place to hang out...

Overall, this is a decent place for a large group. However, it can get very noisy, very quickly.
Food is your basic German-style restaurant food (bratwurst, schnitzel, pretzels w/ beer cheese, etc).
I apologize for the half eaten food in my photos (I was hungry 😂). Below is the liter of hefeweissbier and a Bavarian bratwurst with red cabbage and sauerkraut.
Great beers, great atmosphere. Sandwiches are huge. Bratwurst was delicious with onions peppers and pickle relish. Great menu as well.
Great place to grab a bite and a beer. You won’t find more comfortable seating anywhere, staff is nice. Beer selection is great, and the best thing is you can order beer by the liter.
My first visit here and it was really good. I had the dew drops frankfurter and the brussel sprouts. The sprouts were phenomenal. They were a bit sweet and tender with some crumbled yummy bacon and I believe a maple syrup drizzle on them. I like the atmosphere which is very welcoming. The dew drops frankfurter had some beer cheese, sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers on top. If I had one complaint it would be that they did not offer a lunch menu, however, I can't wait to go back and try some of the other offerings.
Good curry bratwurst. Fries could have been a little crispier. Beer cheese was good, not amazing, but the pretzel was great. Not a huge draught list but hits all the major categories. Large can and bottle beer list. Overall service was great, very comfortable and friendly environment. I would go back for sure.
I love the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant. The pretzel and beer cheese is great and the brussel sprout salad was delicious. My son devoured his burger and said it was one of the best he has ever had at a restaurant in Louisville. My daughter loved the lemonade. The food came out very quick and the server was friendly. Great prices for a restaurant downtown near the YUM Center. Check this place out before or after an event.
They have a great beer selection and I really like the meatless bratwurst. The staff are always very nice. It's a cool little space and they have a shuffleboard table. Probably good for groups, too.
Food was delicious as always, service was impeccable. Went to celebrate my birthday and was treated like family, had a table of 10 and we never needed anything. Already planning our next visit.
