We walked out of our doctors office in the Springs Medical Building around lunch time and could smell the wonderful aroma of food cooking. We asked if there was a cafeteria in the building and we were told that there was a deli on the basement floor. We decided to check it out. When we walked in there was a friendly lady writing the daily menu in colored chalk on a board. The Chef was in the rear. We told her how good it smelled and she laughed and said that's the only way i can advertise. She was cooking pork chops for sandwiches at a reasonable price of $5. We were impressed when she told us she used to cook for Corbet's restaurant when it was open in Norton Commons.
They serve a variety of soups, sandwiches, omelettes, salads and breakfast all day. They also offer specials everyday including hot browns, spaghetti and barbecue pulled pork. Everything is made from scratch.
We ordered the Pork Chop sandwich and it as delicious. Very good reasonable food.
