We got chicken, cabbage, and sweet potatoes, and .a pork chop, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. It was later at night, but the chicken was dry! Nice people, decent price, mostly a to go place..!
I enjoyed the food very much. Cooked exactly like soul food is supposed to be. Soul food is supposed to remind you of home, hospitality and happy feelings. There are a lot of restaraunts who claim to specialize in soul food and yet, the taste just isn't there. This is not the case at Soul Food Dining. They take great pride in delivering to customers what they expect, down home southern soul food taste. Next time I'm in Louisville, KY, I'm going back there....

They were so nice and so sweet. They have more meats and desserts than what is on the menu pamphlet. the veggies are cooked with smoked turkey meat.
I absolutely love this place! Soul food it is. Me and my fiancee eat about everywhere in louisvile and these ladys know what they are doing in the kitchen!! Best greens in louisvile. I would eat them daily. Ribs was delicious and tender, corn bread fresh, so thumbs up from me!! Thanks ladies!! Best homemade greens o have ever ate in 42 years!! Highly recommend people to try this place out!!πππ
My husband and I placed two orders, one order didn't have the side on it, not only when I called back to let them know, the lady delivered it to me, not only is their food delicious, they are the most courteous people I 've met. Believe this, not only will continue to eat there, I will let all of my friends know about SOUL FOOD, Thanks you guys! Almost forgot to mention their dinner portions are so much, you can't eat them in one setting . I had to save some.
This Soul Food restaurant usually has a variety of entrees and sides, as well as a choices for dessert. The Smothered Pork Chops are delicious, and so is the Roast Beef. I enjoy the cabbage, the greens, the dressing and both the sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes with gravy. The Caramel Cake's good, too!
Everything tasted BLAND or unseasoned but EVERYTHING was very good, probably because people with high blood pressure or whatever. But I support black owned businesses, the lady was very nice and the business was very clean!!! Gave her an extra 10 dollar tip. From Memphis, Tn and as a truck driver good food is hard to come by on the road so I WILL BE BACK NO DOUBT!!!! βπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏβπΏ
It has been along time that I have had great down home food, from a restuarant. Best meatloaf ever, and I take pride, that, I can cook a mean meatloaf. Everything, I ordered was delivered hot and everything was exceptional.
We ordered sweet and mashed potatoes, greens, mac & cheese, peach cobbler and caramel cake. Everything was really good, but the cake was dry. Will definitely order again!
the ladies that work here are the best! excellent food: wings, mac & cheese, rib tips, catfish are exceptional. looking forward to trying all of the different entrees. adios skinny jeans.
