I love this place! It's a hidden gem and I'm glad I found it! Great food at an affordable price and the folks that operate it are friendly. Highly recommend it! Every time I've went, hardly no wait time.

This was my best friend favorite restaurant out of all Louisville. This place brings so much memories and joy. I hope they stay in business for a very longtime.

Somewhere between a great taco truck and a local Mexican restaurant.. solid menu. Would be all-but 'perfect' if they had a fajita option.. ..be it fajitas themselves or/and fajita peppers options for their burritos & tacos. Miss the drive thru, but always moves quickly.

My company recently did service work for this restaurant ( we repair stainless steel onsite welding etc) we go to many restaurants and see the good the bad and ugly this kitchen was one of the cleanest I have ever worked on the Equiptment repair was on a dated grill but it was clean like no other ! The Mgt a Hispanic man was super friendly and knowledgeable and took pride in the appearance of the restaurant. He also offered me a burrito for the road. I had the works chicken it was so large my wife and I split it was really great. The food is authentic good and the facility was spotless this restaurant is open super late as well. This may be a long winded review but as many restaurants I visit to do repair work so I have to lay a tarp on the floor so I don’t get covered with the weeks food ! lol Not this one ! In summary Clean , Pride and Professionalism…. Chief RAMSY would give everyone a high five :)

This has long been one of my favorite places to stop whatever I’m in Louisville. I was driving from corner to Indiana today and had to make a stop just to have my favorite, steak and chorizo burrito.

The staff were LOVELY. The food was ok. Portions are definitely impressive--I got the "mini-burrito" and it was the size of a normal burrito. The flavors were a little lacking, unfortunately. The beef in my burrito was a little dry and didn't seem to have much seasoning. Their tortilla chips are interesting--a little frito-like. The queso is more salty than cheesy. Their salsa was good. Definitely might go back and try some different items. The store inside was very clean and well kept. My to-go order was ready almost immediately after I paid.

La Bambas is our absolute FAVORITE place to stop when we are in Louisville. The burritos are literally as big as your head and SOOOO good! The makeover looks amazing as well!

100000/10 so good! Have an amazing variety of food choices, and some you don’t see everyday like cow tongue… so good! Wonderful staff and clean. Lots of seats to enjoy your meal. Probably the best Mexican restaurant in Louisville. Will be coming back. Amazing hours as well.

Cactus and cow tongue? Nowhere else would I have imagined trying either in a spot, but I did just that on my vacation. The lengua tacos and baked cactus were straight-up delicacies which I still can’t believe I had first turned my nose up at. My loaded quesadilla was actually bigger than my head, and had to be saved for lunch the next day to complete. The horchata was the best I have had to date, and to feed four people a full feast we all had leftovers for was under $70. I wish we weren’t so tired and had taken more photos. The service was awesome and I now can honestly say I’ve had some incredible authentic food 🇲🇽

Delicious and huge burritos. Grab every salsa! Do it. The prices are way too low for what you get. My son got tacos. He later regretted not getting the burrito.
